I would like to use this as a hanging light. Can the solar panel be flipped completely upside down? That would be 180 degrees.

How would you get the solar panel to charge? If you flip it 180, you are also turning the charging panel upside down as well as the panel is connected to the top part of the lights. If you are very creative and mechanically inclined I suppose you could jeri-rig something, however, keep in mind the images showed on line is not completely accurate and I'm not sure these would put out enough light to act as a true light source. How many flexible wires on each solar light?

There are four lights on each strand. The manufacturer offers, three different options 120 lights, 150 lights, and 180 likes, so based on the math, the 120 light pack would have 30 strands, 150 light pack would have 38 strands, and the 180 like pack would have 45 strands. Hope this helps.

My solar lights will not come on it does not have a on button

Turn over solar panel. There is a rubber button. Press it. You can feel a small button on the left side and one on the right side in side the rubber button. Press one or the other to get steady or blinking lights.
