For styrofoam, nothing is better
Ok, so I've been a fan of Beacon's Foam Tac for a long time. That stuff is pretty good - this stuff is better. In fact, both work well for gluing but I can use half a tube of UHU POR and store it for 6 months and it'll still be good to go when I open it again. The Foam Tac stuff starts to go bad after you open it - so use it all in a single build, or lose it if you store it for a while. This is the better glue just from a storage perspective. As for adhesive properties, honestly, this might be just a TAD bit better than Foam Tac.

Good for foam board.
Use it to build radio controlled model airplanes out of foam board and foam insulation from big box. Produces a strong joint. It says on the box to apply adhesive, touch pieces together, pull them apart and then wait for 10 minutes or so before making the final join. Have found that waiting only a minute or so is all that's required to give a good initial "grab," but I don't stress the joint for another 30 minutes or so. It is easy to apply and with reasonable care the tip of the tube does not make a mess when you put the cap back on. It's a good replacement for the glue seen on Youtube that is not available in the US. It's good stuff!

Clear and works great.
Works. Clear. This glue does its job well. In a tube that does not dry up as so many others do.

Good styrofoam adhesive. Not any better than Welder's or Foam-Tac.
I've used it on the hard styrofoam used in radio-controlled aircraft. The glue does its job. Takes a bit of getting used to, and, since it's made in Germany, the instructions are in German with the exception of a sentence saying to spread the glue, wait for it to dry, and press the parts together. I'm not sure it's any better than Welder's or Foam-Tac, but I wanted to give it a try.

Great goo glue
My goto adhesive to fix my foamy rc airplanes and general gluing. Get this.

This did exactly what I needed.
I needed to glue a wig and a fake beard to a painted styrofoam wig head. THIS IS THE STUFF! It was pretty easy to apply (hey, it's glue... be smart... work on a surface you can scrape or throw away, and either wear gloves or prepare to be sticky). It dried in the time described, and held perfectly for the performance (and beyond - this is a prop I'll be using over and over for hopefully years). I tried an endless number of other things and this is the winner! Have to remember this!

Works well with XPS foam
The "Por" version works very well with XPS foam. At normal room temperature, I target about 5 minutes of open time before joining the pieces, else ~ 1 minute if I want to slide the pieces (slightly) into place. When sanding a dried joint, any excess glue does tend to clump and usually has to be removed by hand, which is rather tricky. Before discovering Por, I used epoxy. Sanding such a joint was problematic because the epoxy is much more abrasion-resistant.

Carefully packaged.
Exactly as advertised and quickly shipped, in a box, so no damage. Nice.

Yep, it is UHU Por - the genuine article, and I got it at a good price. For some reason, this glue isn't all that easy to find. I've only ever been able to buy it online. This is the best glue for styrofoam aka EPS (Expanded Polystyrene foam) - it won't dissolve it, like some. It's popular for aeromodelling, but it sticks most things to most other things. I've used it with wood. I've even stuck bits of cork and felt to brass and woodwind instruments with it. It can be used as a contact cement - apply to both sides, wait a few mins, then press together - or it can just be used wet, with a bit more setting time. I prefer to do that, because you get time to reposition things. The smell isn't unpleasant, and I think it's reasonably safe for kids to use, if that's an issue. It sets as a clear gum, not hard or brittle. You can generally get things you've glued with it apart again, if you really try.

Love this glue. It works well for anything that has relatedly smooth surface and where is the area of contact is large enough. Just follow the instructions.
