Five Nights At Freddy's: Freddy Fazbear Costume for Kids, Boy's Medium

Got this for my daughter for Halloween and she absolutely loved it. It fit great and was easy to put on her.

Our kid had a BLAST!! He got to wear it for his class party on Friday, and for trick-or-treating on Monday! His buddies whose parents picked up the run of the mill WalMart costumes loved it too! (Aren't kids great!) Apparently according to my son, and his friends I forgot the microphone. - Which I really didn't forget, just wasn't going to dish out the $9 for the actual FNAF' s costume microphone here on Amazon, or buy 6 generic ones for $7. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the Dollar Store either before the class party. BUT they were all still happy, so it worked out for them! Anywho - I read where a lot of folks complain about it being so thin- Yes, it is thin, but not a deal breaker at under $40 for such a popular licensed characters costume! We had our son wear one of his Under Armor compression shirts, and a pair of his Under Armor compression pants, which worked out wonderfully! Of course any non see through tights, or leggings, and cheap compression shirt would work just as well. We also had him put his shoes on after he had the costume on. I know this son (our youngest) doesn't tear up his clothes the way one of our middle sons does, so I think that helps too when we put him in costume, but from experience I know how excited kids get, and most of them do need to be reminded to take it easy when taking their costumes on, & off, (same as dress clothes) & to take care of it whether it's on, or off (same as dress clothes). ** I personally would take the "my kid ripped his putting it on" complaints with a grain of salt. You know your kid, and you know how they'll do walking around trick-or-treating. If they're not throwing down like it's WWE time, or running through bushes acting like brays - you will be fine. ** That being said I wouldn't buy it for our oldest teen for one of their Halloween parties, I don't think it would last the night because of how physical teens are. For him I would want more of a teddy bear material bear costume, and then add the mini top hat, and bow tie. **Oh, and due to the material being kinda thin - you want a white top on top (bottom too if you can) because the belly, and chest are pretty white in person. Thermal underwear are great for this too. We used UA compression wear because that's what we already had. **For school aged kids who can not wear masks to school you are going to want brown make-up for the face, a mini top hot, and brown colored hair spray.

My son is 5 years old and he loves Freddy. He asked to be Freddy for Halloween this year. We couldn’t find size S so we got size M. It fit a bit loose, but I figured he’ll grow. We had to roll the bottom of the pants up because it was too long for him and it worked just fine. The quality was not perfect, but it wasn’t that pricey.

Costume itself was fine as expected, however, I've discovered lately with several items purchased from Amazon that this costume had clearly been used, returned, and was now being recycled by the provider. The tag on the neck of the costume itself had been cut off, the costume was wrinkled badly and had been jammed and shoved back into the plastic bag which was horribly crumpled, and the thin cardboard wrapper that should be around the costume itself (bearing the item size, description, and picture) was separate and not holding the costume. Clearly this item had been used and recycled.

Overall the costume is what we expected. Looks cute, matches the character and we will keep it. BUT the back is poorly manufactured and it came with the top corner looking like it had been ripped. It is held together with two small strips of velcro, but only one side... It seems like the idea is to stick to the fabric of the costume... Problem is, it doesn't. It comes apart with almost no effort. It is an easy fix with just a little bit of crafting skill, but disappointing 😞
