Sturdy!
Bought for my Dad and he really likes it. Great length and the grabber has a gripping surface that makes it's easy to pick up almost anything. Since this isnt foldable, it is very sturdy.

The ArcMate EZ Reacher is an absolute game-changer!
This tool is built to last with its all-metal construction (aside from the durable rubber grippers, of course), which gives it a solid and reliable feel. It’s refreshing to find a product so well-made these days. The strong grip is impressive—it securely holds onto items of various sizes and weights without slipping. The reach is perfect for so many tasks, whether I’m grabbing something from a tight area or reaching the top cabinet shelves. If you’re looking for a high-quality, dependable grabber tool, this is it. It’s both functional and sturdy, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

Well made in America
I’ve used one of these for years at the school where I work. Never gave me an issue. Bought two other brands for my father to pick up the leaves in his backyard, but they both broke and were garbage, so I found the name of these and got one for him. He loves it. Again, I think I’ve had mine for five years or more and I use it nearly every day. Still works great. Best of all, Made in America. Can’t recommend a product more than this.

Absolutely the best I have ever owned
These grabbers are great. Right out of the box I tested them and they are strong. They truly do pick up anything from a red brick down to a dime on the floor. The best part is they are longer than most normal grabbers. About 6 inches longer than an old ArcMate I had and just as strong as can be yet gentle also. Very good price also conseding the ones in a retail store sells for $30.00 USD. Well worth the money. In my box was a QR code to get a free class II Safety Shirt with your text on it. You are supporting a small business with your pusrchase. (EDITED)

Sturdy, lightweight and well made Reacher
Before OSH went out of business, they carried these Reachers in a large assortment of sizes. Now the mfg limits smaller size choices to this. That said, I'm glad they're still in business and continue to carry this size. Years ago, I purchased two 36" (or 32") Reachers -- which I still have and use in my master closet to reach high items, and in the garage for the same reason, or recently, LOW items like a tall container and a very small thing in the bottom of it, that could break if "dumped" out. I use Reachers for the possibility I dropped something, and had limited mobility or dexterity (think shoulder surgery, sore back etc.). This size is PERFECT for deep washers. I know some reviewers stated they weren't strong on laundry grip/lift, except for wet or HEAVY rugs or Bath sheets possibly, my Reacher works fine for those items. If I can get the item up close to my other hand, then it'll assist with heavier items. I'm 5'8" and I struggled to reach the bottom of the washer. Why make washers so impossibly deep?! Anyway, the Reacher did pick up my washed towels, jeans, and whatever I grabbed unloading the washer. What's nice, it's not too long to be unmanageable once you reach the top. I'm considering buying another for use as I go into retirement, and may have future mobility issues. I wish ArcMate still made the old 15" or smaller Reachers, but this works fine. Researching other reachers and grippers, plus the materials used and longevity of competing products, it was a no brainer, having used these for years successfully. Enjoy!

Extend Your Reach and Get a Grip
I own four of these "reachers" I think the product is that good. It can, for example, pick up heavy items at a distance like a heavy jar of jam or a large plastic bottle of sugar. I haven't tried to pick up items at the advertised limit of 8 pounds, but the construction of the reacher leaves no doubt it can pick up what I need. The construction of the reacher is a gun style trigger actuator (for user control) and a long stiff aluminum box beam ending with suction style cup 'grabbers' mounted on stainless steel leaf springs. The reacher itself is not heavy. The narrow box beam means I can get into tight spaces, and the suction cup ends on the leaf springs means the cups grip with tenacious force without damaging what I want to pick up. The company also ships the product to you in boxes designed to deliver their product to you undamaged. I have had no corrosion problems or failure with any of my reachers. All in all a well designed and useful product.

Best of all the reaching tools. Can literally pick up a playing card that's flat on the floor.

So much better than my old one.

I bought this reacher grabber because I'm pregnant and bending over is difficult. I love it and use it everyday. I like using it to clean up, do laundry, etc. It seems very sturdy and durable so far.

Had spinal surgery recently, and bought this to assist with picking things up when I was not able to bend over to pick things up. Although I have recovered, I find myself using this because it just makes things easier to clean up around the yard and fish those items that have fallen into spaces hard to get to.

I was given one of this particular brand about 5 years ago - it was used then. I needed another for the upstairs (steep, narrow stairs) and tried one of the collapsible ones, a totally wasted effort. Sent it back and purchased this one. Worth every penny and I expect one or both will probably outlive me.
