Masonic Folding Pocket Knife - Square & Compass Shape Unique Freemason

We were doing a remodel of our social hall and several people put in a lot of time and effort. I wanted to reward them with something unique and special. I saw these on a Site that caters to Masons, and their appendant bodies, as well as Eastern star and other fraternal organizations. Before I bought, I checked Amazon and found a seller that offered the identical product for half the price. The item appears to be well made for what it is, and comes in a nice cardboard presentation box.It is exactly what it appears to be, a knife that is an integral part of a square and compasses.. Nice gift for a Mason.

I bought this knife for my son and the 1st thing he said is that it is "BADASS" he just loves it! Couldn't go wrong with this knife for a Mason!

I bought this knife because of the way it folds. The handle is pretty big in order to house the mechanism inside and the blade is sturdily held in place. I think the knife is for aesthetic purpose more than daily use. I feel that the gears that move the blade might become weak over time, but it can still work as a knife wonderfully. It's a really cool decorative knife and fits great in my collection. I am giving this knife a rating of 9/12 fish tacos.

It's a cool show knife, but for everyday use not so much. The knife is mainly open by two hands which is not very practical, but certainly unique. The only thing that is weird is that it has a false edge which makes no sense, since with the design it could get away with a double edge since while opening it and closing it doesn't need contact with the knife. But overall a good knife for the price.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend who is a mason. First off, I was expecting a tiny flimsy knife and that is not what I got. This knife is solid and made with great craftsmanship. I was impressed with the idea of this knife and my boyfriend was amazed by how it worked and made the comment he's never seen a knife like this before.

Looks great and has a unique design but the quality is sub par and not stand up to repeated usage

I got this knife for my husband as a birthday gift. It is more than what I expected. Very sturdy with a little bit of weight. He kept saying over and over how much he loved it and couldnt wait to show it off. I don't know how sharp the blade is, but I didn't really buy it for use, more of a show off piece. This would make a great gift for new or old Masons.

I bought this as a gift for my Dad who is a Mason and very much into anything associated with the organization. This knife is sturdy, built very solid and I love that it completely folds up. It is a little bigger than I thought and has more weight to it so I don't know if he will carry it in his pocket (since he always has a pocket knife on him). I do believe he will love it and will def. be showing it off, he'll probably keep it in his car.
