I cannot find good charcoal filters for 6mm pipe. Are the ends of this 9mm filter soft enough to be squeezed into a 6mm pipe?

Not really u can't ! If you are looking for good filter 6mm I recommend to try some kind wooden filter and I believe it is made by savinelli balsa system filtersGood luck

Yes, these filter can be used 5 or 6 times before needing to be changed. My husband smokes aromatic tobacco, and has no problems with them lasting this long. Hope this helps.

How much smaller is your pipe’s receptacle? If it’s 2/3 the diameter of the Dr Perl’s, it’s probably a 6mm. ( I’ve never seen them except for sale and don’t have any pipes that use a 6mm). If it’s about an 3/16”-1/4” diameter, it might take a Medico filter. But before you buy either you should verify the pipe takes ANY filter. It’s tough to see the difference between 5/32” (typical unfiltered draught hole) and a 3/16-1/4” (6-8/32”) for a Medico filter sometimes. Medico filters are about 2-1/8” long so the recess (into both the stem and stem stummel) needs to be that deep. Go back to the original page: Was the pipe listed as “filtered”? “Unfiltered”? Standard “unfiltered” pipes (5/32” draught hole) won’t accept any filter I know of.
