The Surface Pro 7 was made with two different screen connections. This screen works for both.
There are two different connections on the back of the Surface Pro 7 screen. I did not know which one I had, so I trusted that this screen would work for both. Once I got the replacement, I took it apart, and could understand how this screen could work for both. Installed, and it works perfectly. The picture and brightness are the same as the original. Touch screen works perfectly. I am very satisfied. As a last note, screen replacement on the Surface is a little tough. A quality heat gun and an assortment of pry tools and wedges made a huge difference.

Frustrating
I have purchased 3 screens made by LCDOLED for surface pro and all 3 screens I had to return due not working. First screen had to return due touch not working at times, 2nd time it was for a combination of issues, 3rd time returned due to arriving with a broken connector. Thinking it was maybe something wrong with the device, I went ahead and purchased OEM used screens that were pulled from actual surface pro 7, All three times, successfully was able to get it to work. My issue with return is that I don't get refunded until a week after Amazon received the return, I feel that it is done intentionally and a way of punishment for returning.

Excellent replacement screen
I bought this to replace my shattered surface pro 7 screen and wasn't sure what to expect after reading the mixed reviews. It is a chore to remove the old screen if it's shattered and get all the small pieces of glass and adhesive off the bezel, but if your patient and have a heat gun is totally doable.after all that is done installing the new screen is simple. As far as this screen goes, it's an excellent replacement for the oem screen, I can't tell any difference in color or resolution, it's a beautiful display and the surface pen and touch work perfect like oem.

Scratched to easy and bad sensitivity
I bought this screen for my surface pro 7 that I use exclusively for digital art. After installation the first thing I realized was that the screen had a hard time picking up my fingers, I have a small hand and the original screen had no problems with the sensitivity. I find my self having to add more pressure when using the touch screen on the other hand it has no trouble picking up the surface pen and works perfectly fine with it. One thing I will note is that after testing the screen for a few weeks with my surface pen to make sure there weren't any other problems I have found one deep scratch and several lighter scratches. My laptop has not left my work area and the only thing that has touched the screen is the surface pen. I would not recommend because of bad durability and sensitivity.

Works but...
It works as it should.went in good.. except now when it makes system notifications its like the speaker is bad. Tho it wasn't. So apparently there's something you have to do to the speaker... beware

Didnt start up/Wasn't Recognized
Turning on the surface I was able to see the windows logo on this screen, but then the screen would suddenly go black. The device would continue to boot with no screen. Plugging the computer into a dock and checking Device Manager, the screen was unavailable. There were no serious critical warnings in Windows Event viewer (I was looking for Power for Voltage faults to see if something was wrong with my connection points/ribbon cables). Attempted to contact the support team but they never got back to me. Returning this screen before I get stuck with a dud

Could've been done better
Overall the glass was a little higher than desired, the could've been thinner, and the screen doesn't seem at responsive, but it could be since mine's now 2 years old

It is a replacement, not an OEM replacement
Had to replace my screen with this one and it sure did fit very nicely. My only complaint is the quality of the glass. Compared to the OEM screen, its not a smooth, and doesn't handle the eraser on the pen that well. Overall, it still gets the job done and everything works, including the touchscreen. Would I recommend.... If you need a screen ASAP, but other than that, no.
