These are really great battle boards, my group uses them every session for any type of map we may need! They work with both dry and wet erase markers. Even the box can be used as a battle board, the double sided terrains are great for covering a lot of different environments, and the boards are thick and sturdy. The vinyl stickers aren’t great size wise, but they were just a little extra thing anyway, the boards themselves were worth the money alone!

Fantastic quality! I've been playing for 15 years and in that time I've used quite a few mats, THESE are not only durable, but they're genuinely beautifully made and EVERYTHING about it is functional (the storage on both halves have functional grid as well). Great, foldable, adjustable size with a satisfying thickness. 10/10 already recommending to my friends!

I tested the markers on day one when I opened the box, the eraser works great and I can redraw as much as needed. The maps are big and thick like 2 or 3 mm. No flimsy material. You should still fold and stop carefully so as not to damage the "hinge" but all in all great product for the price. You can even use the box for a hill or a coliseum. The under side is a tavern I think. Oh and the stickers do exactly as described they stick and come off no residue left behind! If you're new to D&D like me, you can use just your imagination but for the price and quality I say pick this up. I plan on buying mini rocks trees and shrubs later but the ability to draw them now is sufficient. Great product!

Bought this melee mats dnd starter kit for my son who is very into game making. Customizable for creating your own map, which he likes, a good visual display of the scenario that you’ve created, it can be easily changed. The only complaint is that the size is a little small, but that’s not a big deal he says. It still works great.

Very good quality for affordable price.

Very useful in gameplay. Big fan of the functional storage, and I love quickly drawing battle maps. Amazing for when players pick a fight where it wasn’t planned and you don’t want to do theatre of the mind.

Really enjoy pulling these out to sketch quick battle maps/dungeons. Dry erase works like a charm!

You might be a little limited by what the box offers as a whole, but they also don't claim this is the last map and token set you'll ever need. I quite like the smaller variety of maps, it's allowed me to make small encounter maps ahead of time and then pull them as use them. I think most DMs/GMs could make good use of this item.

Contains most things needed to run a game.

The cardboard was damaged at first, but the seller sent out a replacement that arrived in good condition, and in time for Christmas. It’s a great board and easier to store than a rolled mat. Despite the initial issue, the board is sturdy and I can see it lasting a long time.

I did get the marker and board eraser and stickers but I only got one giant big matt which in the items stated that I should get 2 boxes and 2 double sided playmat don't waste your money here.

My party bought this for our DM for his birthday. Nice and big with lots of options, but the box came a little damaged :(

Es un set muy bueno, los tableros están muy bien diseñados y de muy buena calidad. En otras reseñas hacen mención que la caja llega dañada, si, en efecto tiene cierto daño, esto se debe a que la caja, que sirve también como escenario, no cuenta con algún otro empaque que la proteja en el almacenamiento o transporte a las bodegas de Amazon, esto se resolvería con una caja delgada o protectores para que no suceda. La caja me llegó perfectamente empacada por Amazon, pero si, en el almacenamiento o transporte previo tuvo un “recargón” y se lastimó un pequeño espacio en la parte superior, nada que sea grabe, pero si da tristeza. Otra cosa que yo añadiría, serían más stikers reposicionables, una hoja por mapa, para que hubieran árboles y otros elementos de las otras escenas y no solamente de la Taberna. Aquí solamente pongo mis puntos de vista, pero en lo referente al set y su calidad, me parece que el producto tiene una alta calidad y vale lo que cuesta, incluso yo diría que supera su calidad al costo.
