Would Buy For Everyone I Know
This cooking pot is so amazing! First off the color is beautiful! It is solid and the perfect size for soups, roasts and sourdoughs! The heat capacity is tried and true to the Lodge brand. It holds heat so well. The inside is better than a cast iron in that it is so much easier to clean because it is enamel! This product is so easy to use and comes with instructions but I did not need to read them. I have already made a roast and it came out perfect. It goes so well from stove top to oven so seamlessly! I am still in the newness but I expect it to season well over time although it is coated in enamel. For my roast I used a little bit of olive oil and there was no stickiness at all! A+ highly recommend!

PROS: Well-made cast iron pot from the USA; excellent quality; versatile use: generous size for baking and stewing; bright colors, beautiful cookware that will last; easy to clean; follow instructions for care - easy; great warranty. CONS: pricey but I would wait for it to go on sale

Beautiful and well made!
Absolutely beautiful coloring, the pictures don't do it justice, very beautiful blue. Also very heavy, and durable. Exactly what I was looking for! It was packaged EXTREMELY well for shipping, no chance of the enamel getting damaged.

So worth the money
Heavy duty. Beautiful. I have been thinking of buying this Dutch oven for several years and finally decided to get it. I made the best pot of chili. Heating was even and fast. Cleanup was a breeze. It’s heavy and massive so do not think you’ll just be tossing this around the kitchen. I absolutely love it.

Another great LODGE product!
I received my 7.5 quart LODGE Dutch Oven today! The color was true to the photo, it is constructed from heavy cast iron, and has a porcelain enamel interior finish that should make it almost non-stick. All the surfaces were coated with baked on enamel which should also make it rust free (except for the edges of the pan--but you should treat them with cooking oil anyway). It will be very durable and we should enjoy many stews, breads, or anything else that be made in one big pan like this Dutch Oven. The best "plus" for this item was the cost. It was easily 1/4 the price of the "high end" competitor but the same quality!!!!

Useful and pretty
Like it a lot. Nice color and weight. Not bad at all especially for the price

Neat piece of art
I’m very impressed with this Dutch oven; it’s aesthetically pleasing, incredibly easy to clean, and produces excellent results. My only critique is the weight—it’s quite heavy on its own, and once filled with food, it becomes significantly more difficult to maneuver

Love Love Love My Lodge
One review for 3 Lodge pieces. I have the 7.5 qt., 6 qt., and 3qt. Dutch Ovens. I totally have fallen in love with cast iron. I spent many hours reading reviews for enameled cast iron on various sites and almost decided not to buy. I finally took the plunge and decided I would try Lodge because of the lesser price tag, and figured if all the negative reviews were true I wouldn't have spent to much. I feel if you use the product as recommended it will perform fantastic for you. These are my go to pans these days, especially the 3qt, it doubles for a large skillet for me. The sides are 2-1/2" tall and the diameter is just under 12", perfect as a large skillet. The 7.5 and 6qt. Dutch Ovens are perfect for braising and for stews, go from stove top, to oven, to stove top. I find myself looking for things to cook in them. Very even heating. I have used these pots so many times now, and nothing has happened to them. No cracks, I believe this comes from too high a heat. Only use low to med- low heat. Never heat an empty pot, put oil, or butter. Most of all be patient, the pots take a little longer to get hot but when they do, soups will boil, food will simmer beautifully. My spaghetti sauce will simmer for 2 hours and not boil and splatter all over on the very lowest heat. Don't use metal utensils, they will scratch the enamel. Don't drag them over the stove top, yes they are heavy, but the bottoms will scratch. Don't tap utensils on the side of the pans, this could cause the enamel to chip. Bottom line is if you take care of them they will give you a lifetime. They clean up easily. If they become a little discolored from foods, use a little baking soda with a soft cloth to clean and voila, like new.
