Amazon Basics Bullet/Chisel Reversible Tip Chalk Markers, Classic Colors, Bold Point

Doesn’t work on my window but does on my mirror. Nice choice of colours

In the pack you get ten chalk markers in the following colours :- black, yellow, dark brown, green, red, white, pink, pale blue, purple and light brown, a reasonably nice selection but it is skewed towards the brown-red. You also get an instruction leaflet which you should read to get the most out of the pens.Before you use them, you need to prime the pen, you do this by shaking it, then pressing down on the nib to encourage the ink to flow. Although it does say these are reversible between bullet and chisel tip I would choose which nib you prefer before you prime the pen, as it may be slightly messier to change once you have got the ink flowing.The instructions make it clear that the pens should be stored upright - that is with the caps at the top - to stop the ink pooling into the nib / remaining in the tip and drying out. I'm keeping mine in the box and standing it upright.On subsequent occasions when you use the pen you are meant to vent them before use to prevent blotting. Unfortunately the instructions aren't particularly clear on venting but from the picture hold the pen with the nib upright (if you've been storing them this way it's going to be less of an issue) then you gently push down on the nib, I presume this lets any excess ink back down into the pen.The instructions also say that the pens will only work on a non-porous surface such as glass - I think this refers to the wipe clean aspect - as they work perfectly fine on paper, card and pastel paper, but obviously you can't wipe those surfaces clean. Re. the wipe clean-ability, I would test on a small area of your non-porous surface first as in my experience some colours clean off better than others. In use, the ink has a nice flow and feel to it.Overall - these are nice pens to use and are a great way to get children drawing on black paper. You do need to make sure you follow the care instructions and be aware that some colours may be problematic.

I never seen this type of markers before. I'm very impressed, that's clever invention. The markers gives chalk effect, although there is no many vibrant colours.After following the instruction how to set them up (shake it few times, press the tip few times until colour liquid will start to show and you are ready to go).I've tried it on plain paper and it works really well, leaves nice clean line (thick or thin, depends how you like). It dries instantly and doesnt leave messy, powdery residue like typical chalk would do. On whiteboard it doesnt work as well. Marker leaves water marks, similar to the ones we make using non-wipe dry markers (normal ones we use for colouring).This markers should be stored upright in cup-container so they wont leak out.Markers arrived in brownish cardboard box, not some plastic storing case, so box went directly into recycling bin.Markers feels very food quality, but I would like to see more pastel colours, like pink or turquoise.I think these markers are great and worth to have a go with them. Kids would love them.

Great quality chalk markers I have given these to my son as he has a large chalk board and he’s been loving using them instead of actual chalks he says he’s a big boy now and doesn’t need to use chalks as chalks are for babies. They’ve been treating us well and have been great he tends to leave them open for a while and I’ve noticed they haven’t started drying out which is just an extra plus! Great quality would make a great gift for a student as they might find this much more useful!

I have to paint a t-shirt for my son , he need it at school and as can you see on the picture, the dots resisted after a wash at 60 degrees.I wash thinking will disappear, but looks like this markers are extremely resistant and waterproof.Great value for money and I will definitely recommend it!

These markers are great. Really nice colours and good value for money. Nice bold point and they work well after being primed, need to be shaken and then the tip pressed down on. They also need to be stored upright so that they don't leak. I think that 10 of these markers for the price is really good value. The ink will also wash off if required. Recommended .
