Love my Blendtec Classic! This was purchased as a replacement after my house burned down. It was one of my first purchases, because I can't live without a heavy-duty blender. I actually like it better than my Vitamix. I make protein smoothies every morning. With the Blendtec, the smoothie isn't as "fluffy" and doesn't require as much liquid for blending as does my Vitamix.

This is my second Blendtec. This one is a bit quieter than my previous model although it does not appear to have lost any power at all. I tested it with the Wildside container the day it arrived on some frozen strawberries and it crushed up even the seeds. This is hands-down the best blender that I have ever tried. I have not done the soup although I did see a person do that during a presentation years ago. This makes the most fantastic smoothies ever. Clean up was very nice and I'm glad they put a button just for that. I have also used frozen avocados and other kinds of fruits and it has totally pulveriezed and smoothed everything. I know it has slightly more power than the Vitamix and it never needs to have you help it mix anything.

Best blender i ever owned. Very expensive, but a great investment. My fav coffee shop uses the same one and I knew I needed it when my Ninja broke

The lid arrived out of shape. It does not close tightly. Attached photos. I contacted Blentec, hope they reply and fix the issue. For a $500 blender you think they would do better product check before they sell. The red is not like the picture on the web.

1) base can be left in a corner because controls are on the top not on the front like most others. 2) dishwasher safe containers with blade intact 3) generally smooth blending, but "Safety" blades not always efficient. So 4 stars given the price. Good choice overall.

I got a deal back on this bundle November 2019 and I simply LOVE THIS BLENDER. I use it in the mornings for a protein-packed smoothie made with coconut milk frozen fruit that I add various supplements to (marine collagen, cacao powder, pumpkin seed protein, hemp seeds, and a few more). It does a wonderful job on the fruit, I start with just the fruit in the coconut milk on the smoothie setting. Then I add in the supplements on blend on low for a few seconds. Afterwards, it is easy to clean with the self-cleaning setting... after the cycle is complete I rinse the jar and let it dry. The only downside is the plastic jar, I refuse to put hot liquids in plastic. I really wish they made a glass jar!

Well worth the money

The blender is amazing if it works past the second month. Which for the price you pay you should at least get a year or more out of it!! Would randomly turn on, buttons stopped working, then completely died after 2.5 months. It made THE BEST smoothies though when it functioned

Fantastic blender. Simple and works flawlessly. Only problem is that it is loud - but knew that going in. This is as strong as the ones you see in coffee shops and smoothie shops. They often have those "sound garages" - wish Blendtec​ offered one for residential use.

I'm so happy I chose this blender over Vitamix. Didn't want to deal with a tamper. All Juice bars here use blentec which convinced me to try it. Great quality, blends beautifully, just remember to add enough juice or liquid of choice when blending greens for a Velvety smooth texture. It's the same with a Vitamix. This unit has 3hp motor but never uses all of it at max speed which means you won't overheat it or burn out the motor. So happy!

I have been using the blender for a week and I am very happy with it. I only gave this a 1 star simply because I was surprised to see that there was only one center lid (the small clear part that goes into the large black rubber lid) in the package when there was two jars and two black rubber lids. I was also told in the questions section that it should have come with two clear lid centers. If this is a mistake I will gladly change my review if I am sent another clear lid.

Purchased for my parents. it's simple to use which makes it perfect for them. We really only use the smoothie function and blendtec does a great job at this.if you're looking to get your green smoothie going, it's to the product to go. It delivers a perfectly blended smoothie that is even and smooth. Not to mention its really easy to clean. I also have another blendtec , a different model. I've been using it for 5 yrs and is still going strong! Highly recommended

Bought this blender on a good sale to upgrade from our Vitamix. When it arrived the blades had fallen off of one of the jars and when I used the other jar a screw came out of the motor base. I contacted Blendtec and they seemed stunned that this could have happened. They told me to pack up everything except the good jar,(I could keep that as an extra for my troubles) send it back and they would send me a full new one. When the new one arrived it only had one jar, not the promised two and it didn't have the manual or recipe book or anything. I still ended up with the blender and two jars, but am out all the literature that was with it and I wish that I had it.
