I was researching for a way to clip my shoes to my backpack. And found two standard solutions:1. Footwear Clip, Shoe: It worked well but prone to breaking.2. Footwear Holster Holder with Clip: worked well but only works with proper fitting and was not adaptable to different size shoes. And it appeared you needed to handle a dirty shoe to fit the holster onto the shoe. Because of my quality and reliability concerns, I decided to order the ORXPLUS Tools 2pcs ONE-Handed TARP Clips. I soon found out that the opening of the tarp clip is not wide enough to clamp a side of a shoe. Its opening is about 1/4”. I almost gave up on this experiment; until, I tried to clip it on the tongue of the shoe. And it works perfectly! I use a carabiner and I’m able to clip on any type of shoe to my backpack. It looks a little bulky but the clips are lightweight, and all the footwear clips I found were also bulky looking anyway. The costs were about the same as the standard solutions (except you need to add a carabiner) and I ended up with a more quality and multipurpose clip.

I’ve tried a few different tarp clips, and this one is the most secure and easiest to use that I’ve tried.

I will recommend this to my buddies. This is a heavy duty strong clip. Very Pleased with this purchase and will purchase more as needed. I used it to secure together two corner ends of a gazebo curtain (outside of corner post) from high wind. Keeps the curtain from whipping around too much.

Very easy to attach tarp even folded to reduce possibility of tearing. Easy to remove. Not as cheap as other solutions but probably the strongest. I will use to anchor shade sail where there are no grommets.

These hooks have a super grip for what I’m needing it for and that is to hold down my car cover for my 2001 c5 Corvette. My car cover didn’t come with tie down/gromet holes. So I ordered these hooks and found some long bungee cords. Haven’t had them long enough to tell if they can withstand a storm but I believe they will hold for the MS weather. If they don’t I’ll definitely update my review.
