As seems to be the trend, I purchased this hat for my husband. He's got a fairly large bald head, and was needing something lightweight to protect his ginormous dome from the Sun's rays while he does yard work. I am happy to say this hat is perfect for his needs! The hat is lightweight and very well made. It was just a bit stiff (which is great, because who wants to receive a crumpled hat in the mail?), but was just fine after a wash in the gentle cycle / air dry. And speaking of dry, this hat does a great job of keeping sweat out of his face while he spends 20 minutes crank starting the weed eater. The mesh insert helps keep air circulating around the old noggin, and there's even a snap feature on the sides, if that's your sort of thing. This hat has a very clear digi-cam print on it, and is sure to work well with any cargo short / flip flop wearing dad's wardrobe. All in all, my husband is very pleased with it and plans on wearing it often. Hooray? I got this hat for a character I am doing on my youtube channel (LiftingDad). It has the updated digital military look along with side snaps that allow it to look as pictured or flat all the way around.Great work on the mesh. Fabric feels of high quality. Stitching doesn't appear loose in any area or bundled whatsoever. Very pleased with this one!

My head is an average sized head and it fit my dome very well! And it does its job. Happy with the purchase!

So cool- literally cool! I have a hard time with hats because I sweat so much from my head in the hot Florida sun. With this awesome looking hat I can keep the sun off my head and face, AND not get hot. The first half of the top is all mesh so you get nice air circulation and my head doesn't start feeling stifled. So yes functionality is great. BUT ALSO- the digital camo gives a modern outdoors kind of guy look. I get the best of all world- comfort and coolness- yes feel cool and look really cool. You can button the sides up like the photo and snap them or let them down for more shade coverage for your melon. I am an avid outdoorsman and often test products for my opinion. This is one of the neatest pieces of head wear I have ever owned!
