A Must-Have for Sous Vide Cooking
These sous vide weights have proven to be an essential part of my sous vide cooking experience. I purchased this 8-pack a while ago and they've been performing exceptionally well ever since. The power of these weights lies in their strong magnets. Regardless of the food item I'm cooking, these weights keep it fully submerged under the water, ensuring even and consistent cooking. Whether it's a hefty steak or delicate vegetables, these weights ensure that my food stays exactly where it needs to be. One feature that really stands out is the silicone coating on these weights. This thoughtful addition means that they won't scratch or damage the surfaces they come into contact with. Whether it's your sous vide machine or your kitchen countertop, you can use these weights without any worry about potential scratches or scuffs. In terms of durability, these weights are holding up great. Despite regular use, they're still as effective as they were on day one, making them a worthwhile investment for any home cook. The weights are a must-have for anyone involved in sous vide cooking. If you're looking to enhance your sous vide cooking experience, I highly recommend giving these weights a try.

Works great
Works great. We use a 8qt revereware stock pot and these work well to secure the bags. Seems like a good value as well. We picked up a silicone lid for the pot and it is easy to use and doesn't take up extra space like a dedicated container and rack do

Great product
These work very well with my all clad pot as a sous vide container. Be aware that the magnets do not work well with some of the lower tier all clad pots. I found that out when I used my stock pot. The magnets still work as weights but they don’t stick to the pot.

Submerge Bags Easily
I bought these magnets more for the weight they would add to submerge sous vide bags than their magnetic properties. The extra weight does help. However, placing one magnet inside the sous vide bag and a second magnet on the outside of the hot water container works even better. The magnets are easy to clean when done cooking.

Works well. Worth the money!
Works amazingly well!. I'm using it for my sous vide. Finally a perfect solution to make sure my meat won't float even after a while in the water and even with fatty peices of meat.

They are magnets
I really do not know what else to say, just, they are magnets. They do magnet things, attract each other, repel each other. I thought they might hold a larger food package under the sous vide water, and maybe they would have if the tank were totally full. I was about a half to an inch below the rack, but well enough to cover the food pack...but too far from the rack for the magnets to do anything. I finally just used them as weights, balanced them in position and checked from time to time. It worked, but seemed like any other weight would have worked. The package was not long enough to try putting one magnet inside the tank, and one out, holding a flap of the package at each end, and they did not hold position by stacking under the rack. Maybe I need more instruction. I will go online tomorrow and see if I can find a book, "Sous Vide Magnets for Dummies." They are otherwise fun to play with, as magnets are, and once in their stack, do not separate easily. I make a habit of reviewing any new products I try, but honestly, I really hope no one has read this far....

The magnets are strong. There are no problems holding bags under water. They are robust enough so far there that there are no signs of wear and tear on the blue casing.

they seemed small when they arrived but worked very well. I am air challenged when I use my sous vide stick so there is always some air left in the bag. .. I may buy another set when I need to make larger baatches.
