It’s worth it!
This product is worth the buy! I initially started using a very popular beard dye years ago but in recent years. I believe the formula changed! I started having severe reactions. I researched the product to find a lot of people had filed complaints for the same reasons. I then started using a natural beard dye which didn’t quite color my beard black in color. It was more of a dull black and it looked horrible! Not to mention my beard would turn purple in the sunlight! Moreover it was a 2 or 3 hr process. However I continued to use it for a short while but eventually gave up on it. At which point i started to use a beard pen daily which was costly. However I never gave up looking for a natural dye, I found one that claimed to be natural but it wasn’t. It worked but burned my skin. Finally i found a natural dye that worked which became my go to and i had no allergic reaction. However after several purchases. It’s no longer offered on Amazon. It’s still on the market but I needed it right away. I saw this one and ordered it as well i ordered my normal dye on another site. I used this one and I love the results! My beard is BLACK and it is NATURAL looking. It doesn’t like a dye job. It looks more natural than my normal dye and it lasts longer! I actually do not have to touch it up for a few days. This is my new go to. My only complaint is it’s a 1hr30min process. But it’s worth it. I still use the other one in between uses of this one. Only when I don’t have the time to use this one. ONLY because the other one only takes 20 mins. However this is my primary choice and I’m glad I took a chance on it.

product does not work, does not target grays and has a bad odor. it leaves a green hue and is not worth the time nor money spent.

Doesn’t itch but coloring is off
Product is hypoallergenic, no problem there but the coloring is off. Not sure why, but the coloring leans towards becoming lighter as in light brown and even blond. Might test it by leaving it on longer in case that’s the problem

This works great if you mix it properly
I have tried everything. Just for men's BURNT my face so bad I had to get emergency treatment and it still affects me from time to time and that was 6 years ago. I tried the Grizzly Mountain non allergic dye but my beard would turn Blue. I decided to give Indus Valley (BLACK) a try and it worked great, did not have any reaction to to it but did have a reddish black tint to it. The 2nd time I mixed it I just made an adjustment and lighten the reddish and left it on for 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes & I also washed my beard with Ivory Soap first to clean my beard and made sure it wasn't oily so to speak. I rinsed the ivory soap out of my beard with warm water and patted it dry leaving it somewhat wet, not dripping wet, just moist. I then applied the 2nd application and made it a little thicker than the 1st application and kept on for 45 mins to an hrs. I rinsed it in my shower and after about 5 or 6 hrs it started to really darken. I actually wanted it to darken more so I waited 2 days and redid the 2 application but didn't use much. I did a very light coat with they reddish color, again I washed my beard lightly with ivory soap before I applied it, kept my beard moist & applied both applications. I applied the reddish tint very lightly and kept on for 30 minutes, rinsed with warm water and kept my beard moist and applied the 2nd coat a little thicker and kept on for 45 minutes to an hr and rinsed with warm water and patted dry. The very next day the reddish tint disappeared and my beard turned BLACK with no blue tint to it. I know it sounds like a lot of work but it really isn't. My beard was all Grey when I started the process. To me it was worth it, especially after everything I went through with Bad infection and painful blisters that Just for Men's did to my face. It was horrible. Grizzly Mountain would always leave a Blue Tint to my beard and never give me the Black results that I wanted. After almost giving up I decided to try one more time and bought Indus Valley and give it a try. Even though I had to make a slight adjustment to the direction I was very pleased and Relieved that I didn't have my face Break out and Burned and achieved the results that I wanted. I actually get compliments on my beard. For those that are displeased try making small adjustments until you get the desired color you want and make sure you wash your beard real good with Ivory Soap to get all the oils etc... that may have built up in your beard over time, if your beard has oil etc.. it will affect the way the dye works. Anyway just wanted to put that out there for you guys.

It works
Hair and beard dyes started giving me chemical burns. This tingles a little when you 1st put it on but doesn't burn. The smell is strong and earthy. It kind of reminds me of seaweed, or spinach that was starting to go bad, but no worse than chemical dyes. Chemical dyes would also leave my face stained. This does to a degree but not as bad. I use this to darken my greys for electrolysis so I can't say how well it does on a full beard. That being said my electrologist said it worked and she could see the hairs much easier.

I always used Loreal for years and I liked it. Bigen for beard and was fantastic. However, I started developing rash from both hair and beard colours. The rash would start from night if applied earlier in the day and would stay for almost a week. Had to rush to Doctor for creams and antibiotics as the itching was terrible. Buying this Indus Valley Beard color was my last option and if this failed, I would have moved to clean shave in future. Truh me, this worked wonders for beard. No rash, no itching, no burning sensation, and the color, results are 10/10. There are multiple brands offering henna, organic, herbs and etc but it resulted in rash for me. The reason I trusted Indus Valley as I use Indus Valley Alovera and it showed me great results for my skin and hair. Have been using their Alovera for >14 months now. The only issue I see with this beard color is the time taken for application. 1st the primer (A) and then the color (B). Both A and B application and rest time is about 60+60 minutes. So, overall beard color process (A+B) is >2 hours. Am ok considering the results. I applied Indus Valley hair color today. Will review it post 2 days. Hope there won't be any rash or itching in these 2 days and will be fantastic as the Beard Color.
