Black series does it once again
Gosh they always make these figures super fun, looks exactly like how he did in the film, there is one problem the back belt piece is a separate piece for some reason? It could get easily lost so glue ASAP! Easy fix though, great action figure!

Nice detailed figure.
Can't beat the sale price on this "Baze Malbu" 6" TBS fig. I bought this one and his corresponding partner "Chirrut Îmwe" from the same seller at the same time. Thinking they would be in same box and hopefully arrive in better shape that way. They arrived in 2 different box's? This one was packed in correct size box and a bit of paper. Factory box looked great. So I was happy since some show up damaged it seems. But the Chirrut had no paper and a bigger box. So it slid around and got scratched a bit. Not BAD. But I'm a collector so it's important. Overall, Very Happy I bought BOTH. Just odd that they shipped separately and differently.

Better than the original version.
I wanted to pick up this series figures when they first came out, but they did not look good. This version is much better due to the facial effects and the better detail done to these figures.

Great Reissue, Poor Articulation
This is my first Baze figure. Hasbro did a pretty good job on the photoreal face deco. He looks a lot like the actor who portrayed him. The paint decos are applied well, especially on his MWC-35c Staccato Lightning repeating cannon. The figure does have the right red shoulder pad that is for whatever reason missing from the solicitation photos from Hasbro. The articulation is awful. He has to be the worst in this regard for the entire rogue one lineup. He has zero torso articulation besides a little left-right at the waist. The hair limits his head's movement, the arms are hampered by sculpting, and the ankles don't go past the forward position. Doing any action poses is nearly impossible. His cannon gets unhooked from the back generator easily, and the generator makes the figure unbalanced. I am happy that I have him in my collection, but I'm going to give it 4 stars even though he looks great. That articulation really hampers the figure for me.

Like the other figures in the wave, Baze Malbus is certainly an enhancement on his earlier release by way of the facial print tech application but also thanks to some crisper colouring in the suit. It brings the entirety of the main Rebel force in Rogue One and the attack on Scariff in line with more recent Black Series releases
