Honest review about the Complete Guide to Size Specification &Technical Design
I am an apparel developer/production coordinator. I bought this to use as a reference and love it. Very in depth, goes over all garment types and how to spec them.

Book Editing required
Definitely helpful for new design entrepreneurs learning how to fill out technical specifications for many garments. However, to use this book you must be a critical reader because there are some major errors that I’ve found when using it. For example incorrect references for point of measurements. Still probably worth buying but again use your critical thinking cap.

Good content, Binding Quality Poor
Overall I am 100% satisfied with the book's content. Exhastive charts and descriptions for every possible way to measure all styles/types of garments, full grading for *MOST* size ranges, junior's & missy up to size 18. Children's and Men's full size grading. Full of charts, descriptions of processes, and a section of fit changes/issues and solutions.Suggestions for Content:- PLUS size grading for women - only has grading charts up to size 18. Need to have to at least size 24 for today's current market.- LINGERIE / UNDERGARMENTS- there are instructions for measuring swimwear/knits but would love to see more details on bras and underwear, especially terminology & grading charts for underwire bras, underwear, lingerie, etc.Suggestions for Book Quality: i purchased the "paperback" but it came spiral bound. The quality of the spiral is poor and the pages were falling off of the spiral. Even after I repaired the spiral I had to weave it closed as it continues to open/make the book fall apart every time I opened it. For the price I would expect a hard cover binder w/ rings.
