VCC Motorized VHS-C to VHS Cassette Adapter for SVHS Camcorders JVC RCA Panasonic + 3 Micro-Fiber Cloth NOT Compatible with 8mm/MiniDV/Hi8 Tapes

Been using for a few days to watch old home movies from vhs-c tapes. . No issues at all. Playing a few hours straight. Was cautious buying as few bad reviews but purchased this one because it had less bad reviews than the others. Arrived quickly. Was new product. Works great. No stuck tapes. And my tapes were flood damaged and not good shape to begin with. But this adapter works.

My first VCR DVD recorder was defective. I notified the seller and received excellent service. Within days after they received my defective unit, I received the replacement unit and it is working 100%. I would highly recommend this company for purchases in the future. Twenty-five years ago I had a camcorder that used VHS-C tapes. It came with a VHS-C to VHS adapter. That original one was the best, but those days are gone. This product is nearly that good. It works great. The motorized heads make it easy to use. Simply install one AA battery and you're set. I played different brands, JVC, Panasonic, etc., and it worked great for all. I recommend this product for anyone wishing to watch your old VHS-C tapes. I also got the "ClearClick" analog-to-digital video converter to digitize some of my old VHS-C tapes. It works equally well.

It was hard to get it to lock into the player and not eject. I have it working now, not sure if the issue is with the player or the holder but it seems to be very sensitive in loading. Other than that, we have gone through six tapes and everything looks good so we are hoping it keeps working.

1. the switch that opens the adapter was broken, and did nothing, I had to manually open it with my hands to even attempt to insert a vhs-c tape2. as soon as i inserted a battery, the motor began running and never stopped, regardless of what I did (open/close the door, insert a tape, etc...)3. the motor only ran in one direction, meaning it will unwind and damage your tapes and you will need to put them back in by hand.4. the packaging was essentially nothing, only a thin layer of cardboard on 5 sides, one side was left completely open, no surprise it showed up damaged.would give this negative stars if i could since these adapters can ruin precious family tapes. luckily i used a test blank tape in mine to avoid this exact issue

A couple times I inserted a VHS-C tape/file it appeared that the right side arm did not extend out to make the tape/film stretch out to be parallel with the long edge to be inserted into the VHS player. So I just recommend making sure the VHS-C tape/film is in the correct position before inserting into the VHS player.

Works great for my old video cassette when kids were little. Need to transfer to cd or USB. But I love it.

The 1st one I ordered got jammed after viewing several old videos. It was an easy return and I used the replacement with no problem. It's simple to use and I was able to digitize all the old VHS-C tapes.
