Great value!
Flavor 4/5: It starts out overtly sweet then mellows out to a pleasant artificial chocolate flavor then it has a slight chemically aftertaste. It’s not terrible and is good enough to drink everyday without getting tired of it. Texture/consistancy 5/5: it mixes well no clumps. It froths very easily and it gives it a creamier mouth feel. Some people might not like this but I enjoy it. It mixes easily enough that you might be able to avoid the frothing by not shaking as much. Ingredients/value 5/5: I am unaware of any tested or untested whey isolate at this price point. This is a steal. This stuff is great. The only protein I enjoy more flavor wise is ON gold standard but it’s a blend and it costs the same as this product unless it’s on sale at Costco. ON also makes me bloated. So unless ON is on sale at Costco I buy this cheaper, cleaner product.

Good buy
So far so good. Bought the chocolate, mix with one cup milk and I add a spoonful of Ovaltine (not needed I just like it). I mix with this OVENTE Immersion Hand Blender in a bowl and it comes out perfect. Much better flavor than any pre made ensure types, and cheaper. Hopefully this will help my senior years with my declining protein intake.

Delicious, Clean, and Reliable Protein
This protein powder delivers exactly what I need: high-quality whey isolate with great taste and no unnecessary fillers. The milk chocolate flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, making it enjoyable to drink daily. 💪 High Protein, Low Fuss Each serving provides 30 grams of protein, perfect for post-workout recovery or supplementing daily intake. It mixes easily with water or milk without clumping, and the texture is pleasantly smooth. 🌿 Clean Ingredients I appreciate that it's gluten-free and made in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility. It gives me confidence in the product's quality and safety standards. ✅ Pros: Excellent milk chocolate flavor 30g of protein per serving Mixes smoothly without clumps Gluten-free and manufactured in a quality facility ❌ Cons: None encountered Overall: A top-notch protein powder that combines taste, quality, and effectiveness. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their protein intake with a reliable and enjoyable product.

Good quality isolate, but a bit too sweet
I’ve been using Protein Isolate for a while now, and overall I’m satisfied with it. The protein quality is good, it mixes very well with water and milk, and I don’t get any stomach issues. It’s a clean isolate, easy to digest, and works well after workouts or as a quick protein boost during the day. The Milk Chocolate flavor is decent and definitely drinkable. The texture is smooth, no clumps, and it dissolves quickly even without a blender. I also like that it has a high protein content per serving. The only downside for me is that the flavor is a bit too sweet, especially if you mix it with water. I personally prefer a more natural or less sweet taste. It’s not bad, just something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sweetness. Overall, it’s a solid protein isolate for the price, good quality and effective. I would buy it again, but next time I might try a different flavor.

You'll love it, buy it!
This is awesome, it tastes great. It dissolves easy and doesn't clump. Never chalky. Great protein source. With milk and an egg, it's super creamy.

Excellent value, tastes great…HUGE jar!
I'm not complaining about the size of the 5lb jar of this wheat isolate powder, nor anything else about it. Just be prepared for the fact it's a really big container. The included scoop makes measuring easy, and even with just a long spoon, it mixes in cold water just great. I went with the chocolate flavor for my first go, and it's surprisingly tasty—just like a real milkshake. The calorie content may seem high, but it's nearly all the whey protein, which is what you want for building muscle without putting on empty carb weight. Addendum: I've just tried the vanilla flavor. It's milder than the chocolate, not as heavy, and a nice change. However, I also typically add saw palmetto and collagen protein peptides to my shakes, and the vanilla doesn't conceal the slight bitterness of one of those (probably the palmetto) as effectively as the chocolate. It's okay and tolerable, just an observation. I think I prefer the vanilla overall because it's not as overpowering. I'm mixing other powders along with the whey isolate—saw palmetto and a collagen + peptides supplement—so I'm getting lots of good stuff in one nice big hydrating drink. I know this contains sucralose, and normally I don't like artificial sweeteners, but this is fine. I'm not noticing any unpleasant aftertaste and it goes down really nice after a workout. I'm going to try the vanilla flavor next. For those who don't want anything else, there's always the unflavored version, which I might give a whirl someday.

Lactaid prevented the farts!
The milk chocolate flavor is yummy! After reading advice from an online group of bodybuilders, this is what I learned: 1) It's better cold than hot. 2) Using a shaker with a wire ball (or ice cubes) breaks up the clumps well and many prefer it over a blender or stirring. 3) Add your cold liquid FIRST, then add your protein powder on TOP of the liquid. 4) Leave room in your shaker/blender for the foam that will form. 5) If you want it in hot food/drink, add powder on top of small amount of cold liquid, then stir it into a smooth paste without clumps. Add it into your WARM (not hot) food or beverage. High heat causes protein powder to form lots of clumps. 6) Store the protein powder in a cool dry place or it change color and start tasting weird/bad. Also, store in a plastic bag or container (where you can remove the air) so moisture from the air doesn't make it form even more clumps. 7) Break up any clumps in the powder before adding it to food/liquid. I haven't tried putting it in warm food or drink, so I can't say if that advice works well or not. I did use a shaker with one cup of cold milk and it turned out well. I poured the protein shake over ice and it was tasty. It did have foam on top, but just like the foam on a well poured beer, it still tasted good! Hope this helps. 🙂 EDIT: Still like this powder, but it was giving me the farts. At first, I thought it was the sweetener, so I bought the unflavored version... still got gas. After doing more research, I decided to try a lactaid tablet with my shake...it WORKED! No more farts! Yay! BTW, the unflavored is good with a few caramel flavoring drops and a packet of Splenda.

Raising the price so high was a mistake
This is a good Protein Powder. It used to be great, because it was good, and it had a really good price. It was never cheap but it was a solid Powder for a good price. Now, Nutricost has raised the price...considerably. It is now the same price as premium products. It really is a shame. Now, I'll have to find a more affordable option. If I am paying this kind of money for Protein Powder, mine as well buy the best on the market. 1 Star, on principle alone.
