I wish the print was bolder but it's a great prep book.

My 3rd grader loves to work on physical books rather than the tablet. Our search ended with Lumos learning booksets. The questions are formulated well and felt my child was challenged well during the questionnaire. Even the choice of answers was tricky, so he had to re-think twice before choosing the answer. High recommend !!

I purchased two books to prepare my students for the 3rd and 4th grade Texas STAAR tests. I signed up for the teacher account and followed all the directions. The books have unique registration codes. I put the first one in and it came up as the older version of the book which is not helpful for this year’s tests. Then I tried to add my second book and it won’t allow me to do that even though I checked and followed the directions three times. The system will also not allow me to change my profile and password. They have my name as “teacher” and the password is one they generated. I have filled out two error reports with the site and am told someone will respond. I haven’t heard from them yet. So long story short, the online promise of additional resources and being allowed for teachers to assign parts to their students online are not true. The books are good but the additional online resources was one of the reasons I chose these.

It’s very useful book.It was first Staar test of my kid .This book is very good and gives you the idea of what will be the pattern of Staar test.And my kid is very fond of reading and he scored A in Reading in Staar test.

I used this book to help my child prepare for the 3rd grade State Test. This study guide is awesome!! There are several chapters with several lessons in each. There is an answer key at the end of each chapter with explanations to help your children understand how to get the right answer. Not only a great resource to help with the state test, but a great overall review of everything a 3rd grader should know so they'll have the skills they need for 4th grade. Highly recommend.

This was a great book! It is really helping us out prepare for the STAAR test that is coming up! We also loved the online free test that was available!

Don’t buy has nothing to do with Texas STAAR… that’s why they don’t have samples…

We just bought the book but after going through it I think this is great practice for my daughter!
