I have enjoyed this game from the start, but there wasn't a really good come from behind mechanic. The Expansion adds that with the Kraken, a super powerful monster who hits the lead player in a big way. I had to evolve my strategy much more rapidly in order to win with this expansion.

This game has some major flaws, primarily in the way that you gain new cards and the fact that the monster attacks are so random. This expansion does add the Kraken as a timed monster, but little more. The villain guests and their effects are even less exciting. The game is interesting, but I found that this expansion felt very underwhelming.
