It snaps in the breeze and reflects sunlight.I haven't had any more woodpecker damage since I put it up on all my windows and in trees near house. (also on some of drain pipe)Much cheaper than other products and easy to tape anywhere in 2-3 foot strips.I have purchased another 360 foot roll to use next year if need replacement after being up this winter

Keeps birds out but not ducks. I originally bought this to see if it worked on ducks. However, once up, I realized it kept out the birds but the ducks returned. I ordered the "swan" to keep the ducks out and will now take down the tape. It doesn't bother me to have birds in my yard. But if the birds came into my seating area or covered deck, I'd put it back up. Also, I do have an owl that I move every night to keep the birds out from my covered deck, and never had the problem with birds nesting in this area, not once. The owl must be life size and moved every day.

We have a real problem with gulls wanting to hang out on our boat lifts and dock. We have tried lots of different things to get rid of them. Some work, some don't. Some are expensive, some are cheap. This tape is one of the cheap solutions that actually works. I tie several 6-ft strands to my boat lift and dock. It really helps keep those dirty birds away.

I had been using old CDs tied to fishing line to keep the woodpeckers off my house, and office building. They were very noisy, and didn't move much in a light breeze. This product has been fantastic so far. I did not rate it five stars because I only just got it and do not know how well it will hold up. However, it comes in a large role, very reasonably priced, so replacing the scripts periodically is not a concern.

We had tons of birds hanging out by our spa and pool. The poo was horrid. We placed the tape around the yard and the birds are staying away. It is not a sticky tape. You actually have to tie it.

I live on the 21st floor and the birds love sitting on my terrace! So glad I discovered this tape. Since I used this tape I have not been bother by daily visits from "The Birds!" The roll has enough on it so I will have enough for years to come......

We love this bird tape. It really works keeping the bird droppings off our boat. We put it around the edges of the lift and it is the only thing we found that worked for us. One month later still no geese in our yard. They are going in our neighbor's yards next door and down the street. We have four strips hanging from our second floor deck and it definitely seems to be working. 20-30 Canadian geese leave a real mess in a yard. So far, the strips have been very effective.
