Great little coffee scale!! Hefty! Beware: do not charge with high-powered USB chargers!!
Excellent scale in every sense. It has a hefty weight to it. Has a pleasant "beep" sound that is not loud at all but easily hearable. They only "defect" this (and many not-so-expensive) coffee scales have is that you MUST always use an OLDER charger which outputs no more than 1A (Ampere). That's because the circuits these scales have are not sophisticated enough to receive a huge power output like the one of a fast charger, so if you do use a fast charger, the battery life will be ruined in little to no time at all. The brightness of its screen is OK, not super but enough and mostly adequate. What I like the most about this scale is that it is very responsive (aka. speedy) in updating the output being displayed as the espresso falls into the cup. And in everything you are measuring. Also the hefty body prevents interference from other devices like microwaves, which I have seen in other cheaper scales.

Great starter scale for coffee making
A good size, accurate enough, not too much lag before the weight changes, good price. As long as it lasts a few years id say it's a great value

The perfect simple pour over scale!
Great value for an easy pour over scale! It's precise to the tenth of a gram--gave me the exact same weight for my coffee mug every day for the last 2 weeks. Easy to tare and responds quickly during each pour. Gets the job done and looks good on my counter at the same time!

Good for measuring single dose espresso, stopper good for poor-over
Overall, I'd recommend this device for accurately measuring coffee beans. 1/10 gram accuracy helps get consistent results when measuring beans for espresso. For me, it replaces scales with 1 gram accuracy, which was not sufficiently granular, for example 17.0g vs 17.9g will get you different results when making espresso. I could only compare it with my existing scale up to ~21g. They both showed the same weight. The scales don't offer a way to reset or calibrate themselves. Don't get confused by the video on the item's page. The stopper function is good for poor-over or french press, not so much for espresso. In particular: * It counts up from 0, never beeps (not a timer) * It can only be triggered by pressing a button, not by weight change. This means it can't be used to measure espresso extraction time, unless you manually press a button.

Good things come in small packages!
Wanted gram by gram accuracy, a lot of the ‘baking’ scales didn’t have that delicacy. Did not need 20lbs of range. Stumbled on this scale in the coffee section. Super accurate, goes up to 3 or so pounds, more than enough. Used it baking a few times now, like the ability to switch between grams and millilitres, retare as I go, stays on long enough between reaching for ingredients… generally just really nice. Slim design so it fits into the drawer between the other stuff.
