I bought a regular blade fan for 2x as much, rated 8x the CFM but this wipes the floor with it. I had another blue mover fan I got decades ago that worked the best but only works on low now, and this beat that one on both power and quiet. I don't care that much about quiet, but it really moves the air. Other massive fans I have just suck the air it blows back on itself.Just get this. Unless it explodes on me or something, then I will update with a mood.

Drying garage floor and carpets

With this heat, It's excellent! It's used for cooling purposes.The air that comes out of that blower is stupendous; and that's on low!I am so happy I made this purchase.Im thinking of buying another one soon. I would love to have one for almost every room of my living space.

The difference in price between this one and the smaller one was low enough I figured I'd get the larger one to replace the smaller one that I've had for... probably 10+ years... that finally died when the motor gave out.Big mistake for what I want.This thing is much larger, much heavier, and most importantly much louder. Even on the lowest setting this is about as loud as the high setting on the smaller version. On the small one, the low setting is nearly silent in a normal household environment.I wish the low setting on this was MUCH lower and maybe a 5 or 10-way knob.But if you need something to move lots of air in an industrial setting, this thing would probably be awesome.

We love that it moves so much air. Living in Florida where it is very hot and humid it makes it much more comfortable. We are 100% satisfied with it.

I've had a very similar product before that I paid a lot more for and this one has a three-speed switch and one I had before was a variable switch but I love it

This is my second one, I actually own an original from 2000 which is a little smaller than my new one, both are working awesome. The new one is powerful! Great product.
