I have a hard time looking at shades of colors and have to pester my wife every time I used to test. Not any more. Easy to use and made it faster to test.

I used this for a couple of months thinking it was accurate, but I was seeing my pool water (swim spa) start looking different and I was getting rashes. Being a chemist by trade, I decided to do side-side comparison with lab results (that I have access to) and Exact Tester. BIG difference. Examples: Lab Calcium 540 ppm. Exact Calcium 235 ppm. Lab pH 8.4 - basic. Exact ph Lo (this means pH is below readable level - or very acidic). Bromine was comparable. Lab Total alkalinity 180. Exact 110.Biggest differences were in the Calcium and pH. These are important to maintaining good pool water conditions. Next step is to buy some lab standards and create a plot of Exact values to actual standard value. If the difference is linear, then maybe I can use the Exact with an correction factor.

Easy to use and accurate. Have tested against pool supply store and it’s spot on.

Worked great for months then it just stopped. Put new batteries in and that did nothing. What a waste of money both on this and all the test strips.
