Will update later if they present problems. I've had color changing lights for 15 yrs, usually the ones with thicker cords and bulbs on T base and they usually last a 2 to 3 yrs. These are on thinner cords but were pretty easy to put up since I already had the hooks in place. The big difference is the bulbs, rather than having a diffused color, these radiate color from the filament (?) It's a cool change from the others and the colors are more neon yet not as bright as neon. The only neg is at least 3 buttons on the color menu come up with the same purple but otherwise Im happy with them. UPDATE...seems we have red squirrels and yup, they loved the wire coverings. Spliced em back and put them up in the house (where they look great). Bought some with the thick, less tasty cords...fingers crossed.

Great lights! variety of colors makes for a fun atmosphere

I absolutely love the color selection and the various lighting modes available. However, I was slightly disappointed by the brightness level of the bulbs; they didn't illuminate my patio quite as much as I had hoped.

I purchased four sets of Brightown string lights for outdoor use and had them professionally installed (along with several other outdoor lighting products). They’re cheap, and initially looked great. However, in less than a month of minimal usage, all of them stopped functioning. These lights were installed in the California Bay Area, where the weather is generally mild. They were exposed to a few rainy days, but nothing extreme or outside what should be expected for products advertised as suitable for outdoor use. Based on this experience, their durability and weather resistance are questionable. While I am still within the return window, it’s frustrating to deal with the inconvenience and additional effort required to remove and replace professionally installed lights. The product definitely didn’t meet reasonable expectations for longevity or outdoor reliability. Amazon reviews have consistently assisted me in making smart decisions, but this was one of the worst purchases I’ve made on the platform. Suggest investing in higher quality lighting and have it done right the first time.

Product is good but timer stopped working after a few days

The lights are pretty with an easy to use remote control with many color options. And if you want to change the lights from all one color to the next, then these are perfect for you. However, I wanted the color selection of "multi". I assumed that when in the multi color mode, the colors would be be distibuted equally but what I got was 3 dk blue, 3 purple,2 green, 2 yellow, 1 red, 1 turquois. I realize it was my assumption about the multi colors but it was based on other multi colored lights and there wasn't anything in the description to say otherwise. There are 12 bulbs with 6 colors so I'd expect 2 of each color, not so.

beautiful lights , remote with all kinds of options bought one and then a second string. so far, couldnt be more satisfied.

They are bright and beautiful. Exactly what I needed for my camp trailer awning!
