This is a Japanese Hand-made Tin work, Sake warmer, called Tanpol,well-known as high-class gift or collectible item. This item have been popular among Japanese Restaurant for years. Osaka Naniwa Suzuki, based on Osaka City, has been recognized & registered by Government as Traditional Handycraft Industry since 1983, with unique, traditional method since the middle of edo-era. Tin is said to purify the water, absorbing impurities inside. Also, Tin cup is belived to make Sake or Shochuu really tasty.
