I’ve been using Nutrafol for three years and cannot say enough for how it worked for my thinning hair. I use the postpartum formula as it works best for me. The shedding hair at the shower drain has changed tremendously. I’ll be continuing taking this formula for as long as I can.

I am almost 6 months postpartum and noticed visible hair thinning at around 3 months post. I had a delay in taking action because (Thanks mom brain!) Additionally, there is an ingredient that, If you are familiar with Ayurveda, there is an herb known as shatavari AKA the queen of herbs. This particular herb is impressive because it is an adaptogen which helps to balance out women's hormones, reduces stress, and stimulates hair growth while nourishing the scalp. I hate that they cost sooo much but it absolutely helped my hair shedding. I didn’t know what was wrong with my hair but after every wash clumps and clumps of hair came out. I took this for about a month ( not every single day but every weekday) and the over shedding stopped . Also took Vital Proteins Collagen powder. I had a friend that had stomach aches from certain supplements because she was mixing them wrong. If this is you , I recommend you make sure it’s okay to take certain ones together

As a breastfeeding mom, I wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. I know dietary supplements are not as tightly regulated as medications, and many experts recommend choosing products that are USP-verified when possible. In the postpartum period I was feeling vulnerable about hair loss and was influenced to try this supplement. After taking it, my newborn became extremely fussy and inconsolable for most of the day. The only time she would settle was while nursing. Of course babies can have fussy periods, but the timing made me pause. When I looked through other reviews, I noticed several breastfeeding mothers reporting similar issues, including increased infant fussiness and some mentioning a dip in their milk supply. I can’t say for certain that the supplement caused our experience, but the timing and similar reports from other moms made me uncomfortable continuing it while breastfeeding. Every baby and parent will be different, but if you are nursing, it may be worth proceeding with caution and discussing with your healthcare provider before starting.

I bought this because of postpartum shedding and it transformed my hair in the best way! Within a month my hair stopped shedding and I started to see luster return. About two months later my hair length improved and so did the fullness of my hair. A full three months later and now my edges are growing back and I feel so much more confident! Worth the price and easy to take. Doesn’t taste funny or smell weird. I also appreciate that the capsules didn’t come broken, but stayed intact and powder wasn’t everywhere in the bag.

This supplement does not smell or taste as bad as others I have tried. Of note, the serving size is 4 capsules. They are rather large size. It took me about 2.5-3 months to use them all since it was difficult taking 4 pills daily. It did not cause any nausea or other adverse side effects, but I’m not sure I saw any improvement. It could be that I did not use it long enough. I don’t know if the price justifies continued use, so I’ll probably look for an alternative.
