動画の読み書きに購入。 これまで3TBの外付けハードディスクを使ってきましたがやはり転送速度が不満でSSDにしました。動画が対象ですので大容量が必要。ということで高かったですが本機（4TB）にしました。 転送速度は付属のUSB 3.2 Gen2 x 2ケーブルを使用した結果、ベンチマークも公称通り2018MB/Sという結果となり、実際のファイル転送（PC内蔵のM.2→本機）でもハードディスクの時より５倍近く速くなってとても快適になりました。 環境は Core i9 13900K ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI メモリー：32GB このマザーボードはUSB 3.2 Gen2 x 2をリアパネル（基板直付け）とフロントパネルの合計２基搭載しており、今回はフロントパネルに本機付属のUSBケーブルで接続したものです。 発熱ですが、例えるなら使い捨てカイロの一番熱くなるぐらいです。もちろん手で触れられないということは無く発熱は少ない方ではないでしょうか。 造りは堅牢でとても頼もしいです。 注意点ですが、本機はUSB 3.2 Gen2 x 2で規格上は20Gbpsです。言うまでも無くUSB 3.2 Gen2 x 2インターフェースを持たないPCでは20Gbsの恩恵は受けられませんし、ケーブルも20Gbs対応のものを使わないと期待する転送速度は得られません。USB 3.2 Gen2 x 2対応のケーブルは規格上1mまでとなっていますから、これを越える長いケーブルでは20Gbsは出ません。特にGen2 x 2を謳う中華製のケーブルには要注意です。逆に対応のケーブルを使えば確実に本機本来のスペック（約2000Mbps）が出ます。ちなみにエレコムのUSB3.1 Gen2(帯域10Gbps)対応ケーブルでもＯＫです。このエレコムのケーブルは公称では10Gbpsとなっていても、実際には20Gbpsで転送が出来ました。 動画ファイルの読み書きなら値段は高いですが効果抜群です。

A great speedy and durable drive but remains expensive although is one of the fastest drives there is and whilst you cannot play Xbox One Series Enhanced games directly from this, it is at least very fast to transfer them back and forth. Also works great as a portable drive for computers, laptops and phones. It also looks good.
