This product significantly & measurably reduced my 'bad' cholesterol from dangerous to acceptable levels; I have the blood work to prove it. However, to achieve this I was taking 2 of these softgels x 3 meals a day. They are rather large as well as expensive & it's hard for me to have 3 meals a day on a regular basis. They don't upset my stomach but still I prefer to take any of this stuff with food. In any case, I am continuing with this product and it's been more than a year. The only other option would be statins. Cardio Tri-plex does not entail any bad side effects or require constant monitoring of organs in case of damage like statins do.

Haven't been using them long enough to know how they work of if they are helping me any.

I did some research before purchasing Red Yeast Rice - this Tri-Plex capsule combines the two supplements you would take if taking a statin. I'm starting out with 1/2 dose to see if I tolerate it - so far, so good! This brand was recommended by friends.

I have not used the product long enough yet to say how well it works.

Taking this to lower cholesterol, in place of prescribed statin. The red rice yeast still causing muscle aches in back. This is not for me. Back to the drawing board.

I've been using this supplement for 3+ months and recent cholesterol readings have improved. I add it to my daily regimen of exercise and healthy food choices. I love getting these type of supplements on Amazon. And the fast shipping was much appreciated

Doctor recommended rather than cholesterol medicine. A little pricey still.
