Sonic The Hedgehog 2.5-Inch Action Figure Diorama Set

For its MSRP of $20 this is a pretty fun little set to own. Included are figures of Classic Sonic and Tails, as well as a slew of accessories. More than anything this set exists for enthusiasts to fill out their Sonic displays with yet more cute accessories! The two figures included inside are great. Tails and Classic Sonic look basically exactly as you would expect them to! Worth keeping in mind, the 2" Tails figure's rotating tails are posed in a rather inconvenient way that makes it difficult for the figure to stand without assistance. That's the only possibly annoying bit with the figures though, otherwise they're both great and a worthy addition to any collection if you don't have them already! That said, as the two action figures inside (Classic Sonic and Tails) have been released elsewhere, and the majority of the accessories have been as well, this is likely not a necessary pickup for most collectors. The spring and spikes have been included with other figures in the past, and the two "Tall and short Checkpoints" will be included in a group of three in an upcoming Studiopolis Zone playset. The only new and exclusive accessory is the Shield Monitor. I do have a couple of very small nitpicks. Specifically about the "Tall and short Checkpoints", the two pole-like accessories. The issue is, those things *aren't* checkpoints! They are objects from Studiopolis Zone in Sonic Mania, and they're supposed to be bouncy, almost like a spring. Despite this, I guess somebody along the line got confused, and assumed they were Checkpoints because of their visual similarities to the Star Post checkpoints from most Sonic games. This isn't a big deal whatsoever, as they still look just fine in a display, and if it was only a naming error I would not be bringing this up. This error, however, carries over into the functionality of the accessories! They swivel at the base of the grey pole, identically to how the *actual* Checkpoint accessories Jakks has released in the past do, which is simply not a thing that this object is intended to be capable of. Again it's not actually a real problem, but it is pretty funny! I wonder if they'll go back and fix this someday. My final nitpick is that the inclusion of Modern Tails here rather than Classic Tails is a bit strange, in my opinion. I feel this way because he's paired up with Classic Sonic, and all of the accessories included are Classic-themed. So Modern Tails simply feels out of place. This set would've been a good opportunity for them to release a Classic Tails figure for the first time! As well, the Modern-style 2" Sonic figures are all disproportionate to the Classic-style 2" figures. Classic Sonic is supposed to be much shorter than Modern Tails, for example, so in the box together they look a bit odd. At any rate, all that nitpicking aside, this is definitely a set worth having if you don't have the included figures already or if you are interested in adding a whole slew of additional accessories to a Sonic display. It's exactly as advertised, the two figures you can see and the bunch of accessories, so if that interests you then definitely pick it up!

Good quality toys definitely not for a 2-4 year old the nose can break from tossing it around I have a 6 year old had to get it again because his younger brother broke Sonic’s nose.

I say it is worth the price! my daughter is a huge Sonic fan! She loves playing with the little figures. These would be great cake toppers as well.

We used these figurines as cake toppers for my son's birthday cake, and they worked out perfectly! They looked great on the cake and, even better, he was able to play with them afterward. Definitely a better option than traditional cake toppers that tend to break the moment a kid grabs them. These held up well, made for a fun surprise on the cake, and doubled as a toy—win-win for both parents and kids!

Nephew loves Sonic and he was excited to have an entire set up to play with. Pieces are a little smaller than I expected but Cash was happy so I’m happy.

Was perfect for the cake and nice little toys for after :) bought the palm trees and happy birthday separate but overall great buy !

Fun gift for my husband who grew up playing sonic.

Toys are very poor quality. Do not buy if your child is going to play with them. Both figurines broke within hours.
