Yummy
I made these with almond milk and I am certain one must use cream! The texture is compromised if you don't use cream and water. (Just an FYI, when you mix these, don't handle them too much by beating them or handling them too much so they won't bake tough.) In any case, these are really tasty. I LOVE the cranberries because they are HUGE and they bake up nice and moist. It's surprising. But then , Washington State has cranberries! So I am assuming they are very fresh. The orange flavor is just a perfect addition and they are wonderful. I am going to get some cream and make them again!

Great Scone Mix
You know it's good when you take these to a potluck brunch and someone comments, not knowing that you brought them, "Whoever made these scones got it right! These are delicious!". Little did they know, they came from a box that required that you simply add water! I even cheated and didn't kneed it adding flour ... just mixed, let it sit a few minutes and dropped by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet. Couldn't be easier! I can't find this product locally so I always order here. Also makes a great gift when combined with some nice coffee beans/grounds! Bon Appetit!

Fisher Cranberry Scone mix
Iam a long time Fisher Scone mix addict. This is the first time, however, with anything but the original recipe which I modified with my own fresh pecans, orange zest, and dried apricots. We just baked our first batch this morning and while good it is too early to provide a final report. Fisher scone mix are a favorite of the family, so I will be back for more.

Wow - What a negative change
We previously purchased this product when it was in an 18oz box for the same price about 5 or 6 years ago.It had a great flavor then and you got 16 large scones out of the package as opposed to the 9 small scones you get out of their new smaller package for the same price.I called the company in Washington and asked them what had happened. The owner explained that due to the cost of cranberries and walnuts and orange flavor they had to cut back and add fewer of these items and add more flour which was less expensive. This present product now tastes like a mouth full of putty with VERY little cranberry, walnut or orange flavor. Not worth the purchase price. Bring back the old product and raise the price and let us decide if we feel the price is or isn't worth the great taste of the old product.

Tasted these at a baby shower/high tea party. They were so delicious that I went online immediately and ordered them. The plain scone mix is also great! You have to order in bulk but they are so good I didn't care. Now I give a box with tea for gifts!!!

Best breakfast treat.
My love for Fisher baked goods started at the Western Washington State Fair over 50 years ago. Free samples of scones were handed out at the Fisher window and long lines of kids stood in line for the freshly baked goodies. Now every time I am in the Northwest I seek out some boxes of the scone mix to bring home -- except that now I can get the product on Amazon.com. Great news. Great product.
