Lost two patio fans in a tornado. Insurance was estimating to pay 3-4 times what I spent. Easy install and excellent quality. Quiet and balanced out of the box.

We purchased 4 Honeywell Outdoor Ceiling fans for our covered front porch. We had an electrician install them. They look nice and operate great. Low noise level but really moves the air. These will be great for our Texas summer weather.

We have had this a few months now and have had no weather related problems with it. It’s very easy to use and has made a big improvement to our open back porch.

I’ll start with saying the fan is super quiet, sturdy, and an easy install. I do like it. I did an angle mount on a cabin porch joist that has a 4/12 roof pitch. Anything steeper and you probably want a longer down-rod for blade clearance. There was enough wire for maybe 36” (I didn’t measure but know I cut off at least 2 feet). I was conflicted on the color prior to ordering. Many of the pictures showed it as a gray very similar to a “Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze”, although a couple I saw did look like it had some brown in it. Most items denoted as bronze have more of a dark brown/black hue to them which was what I really wanted but difficult to find in an outdoor fan that doesn’t look super modern. I figured with free returns I could send back if not happy. I decided to keep it prior to installing. After install, I turned it on and was not overly impressed with the airflow. Being outside, I had to have it on high to really feel a breeze sitting right underneath it. The breeze is “acceptable” but not forceful like the fan I have in my office on an 11’ ceiling. With 5000+ CFM, I expected better. Then I looked at the box and saw 3020 CFM. Why does Amazon list 5070 CFM and Lowe’s list 5459? I expected at least 5000 prior to ordering, which would have been amazing and allowed me to use multiple speeds. I’m still keeping it but feel a bit deceived. Nice fan but if your blade height is greater than 8’ and outside (my situation), realize you may be looking for more airflow.

Great fan for indoors or outdoors. They have heavy duty ABS plastic Blades that won’t eventually droop ! And for the price it’s a great buy !

At the bottom is my original, one-star review; it was based exclusively on the fan's "low air volume". I'm now substantially upgrading my review due to the following. 1. World-class, top-tier Customer Support. Due to the review, they contacted me immediately, and we had extensive and substantial email exchanges, during which they offered every reasonable kind of help. I copied my final email to Support below. 2. I've become convinced the fan is competitive with other current fans in its price range in terms of air-flow and that my expectations were too high. 3. Other than air-flow, there are a lot of positive things to say about the fan: Good, heavy construction; good documentation; extra screws, washers, etc. just in case; operation is extremely smooth with no balancing required. Here's my final email to Support: "Thanks Nick. I agree with all your conclusions below and don’t want to invest more time in experimental swaps or returns. The fan is a disappointment, but our exchange has convinced me it’s probably comparable with other fans in its price range. However, your customer support is top-tier in a world where even merely satisfactory customer support is becoming more and more rare. Consequently, I’ll enthusiastically upgrade my review. Thanks again, Bill" Below is my original review. I’m very disappointed. Including extra hardware, I invested approximately $110 in this ceiling fan. But much more importantly, I invested over 6 hours of my valuable time installing it. The fan works, but it moves very little air; its highest speed is barely up to medium on my other ceiling fans. This is the most anemic ceiling fan I’ve owned, and it’s of no value to me. So, after my very considerable investment, I have nothing to show except a depleted wallet and lack of things I could otherwise have accomplished with my time!

The fan arrived on time with out any damage. It was very well packaged and installation was straight forward. I installed this fan over my work bench in my woodworking shop but wouldn't hesitate to have it in my house, simple and attractive best describe it's appearance. It comes with every thing needed to install it as a ceiling hugger, sloped ceiling or as I did with the down rod. Since this is a indoor or oudoor fan, I plan to buy another one to install on my covered porch. The operation is extremely quiet, smooth with zero wobble and an effective air mover. I'd choose this fan again and recommend it to others.

The fan blades look very cheap and plasticky. We used it for 4 weeks for our outdoor seating area, then the motor died and caused a short circuit. Seller won‘t help with refund unless shipped back. While it worked, it was ok.

Installation wasn’t too difficult and didn’t take much more than 30 minutes. The fan is beautiful and works well in our outdoor space to move air. It keeps the deck area significantly cooler than a floor fan.

Installed this in the vaulted ceiling of our 3 season cottage to circulate air from the woodstove (the only source of heat). It installed easily and was perfectly balanced. Not a wobble. It is very quiet and unobtrusive so we leave it on most of the time. It circulates the air nicely even on low speed and has a quality look and feel to it. Highly recommend.
