These bulbs are awesome. They are super easy to install. I love all the colors and the bulbs brightness. It's easy to use and Alexa found it without interaction since I had other Kasa bulbs and switches. I have mine setup to turn on and off at specific times. I can ask Alexa to turn them on or off, change colors and brightness. I can do the same in the Kasa app.

I've had these bulbs for over 5 years now and I have never had an issue with them. Being able to connect to Alexa is amazing as you can set up routines (all my lights automatically turn on to a certain color and brightness at 6pm). I have used other brands and they always give me some type of trouble, whether that be connecting them, pairing them to Alexa, etc.). I cannot say the same for Kasa. 10/10.

I’ve been using this Kasa Smart Bulb (1000 Lumens version) for several months now. While the hardware itself is impressive, my experience with the smart home integration has been a bit of a mixed bag. At 1000 lumens, this bulb is noticeably brighter than the standard 800-lumen smart bulbs. It easily illuminates a medium-sized room on its own. The color reproduction is excellent; the 16 million colors are vibrant, and the whites can be adjusted from a cozy warm glow to a crisp daylight. Even at full brightness, the colors remain saturated and don't look "washed out." I have to be honest: I could not get this bulb to sync with Alexa despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting. If voice control is your primary goal, keep in mind that setup can be finicky. However, I decided to keep it because the Kasa App is outstanding. It’s very intuitive and offers deep customization options that go beyond what Alexa usually provides. You can create schedules, adjust dimming levels with precision, and set up specific lighting "themes" directly from your phone. In the months I’ve owned it, the bulb hasn't flickered or lost its Wi-Fi connection once. It’s a very stable piece of hardware once it's set up in the native app. Pros: High brightness (1000 lumens); rich and vibrant colors; very stable and feature-rich native app. Cons: Frustrating Alexa integration (in my experience); requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band for setup. If you don't mind using your phone to control your lights, this is one of the best color-changing bulbs on the market for the price. If you strictly need voice control, you might need some patience during the initial setup. I recommend it for users who want high-quality mood lighting and are comfortable using a dedicated app for a more personalized experience.
