UNCO Hard Hat Sun Shield, Mesh Sunshade, Visor, Neck Shade

I bought the UNCO Hard Hat Sun Shield Mesh Sunshade for outdoor work, and it’s been a game changer in the heat. The mesh material is lightweight and breathable, so it keeps the sun off my neck and face without making me feel overheated. It fits securely on my hard hat and doesn’t slip around, even when I’m moving a lot. I also like the high-visibility color and reflective strip—it adds an extra layer of safety when working in low light or busy areas. The coverage is great, especially for the back of the neck, which usually gets the most sun. For the price, the quality is excellent and it definitely makes long hours outside much more comfortable. I work in hot, outdoor conditions around a lot of heavy machinery in the full sun while using an iPad as an input/output device. The UNCO Hard Hat Sun Shield has three perks for my work - it provides well-needed shade to my neck and face, it's highly visible, and as an added perk, the shadow it casts is able to keep both the iPad cool and the screen visible in direct sunlight. Lastly, it's ultra portable - folding into a small hand-held sized pouch attached to the product.

Just what you need, it's not heavy, easy to remove, and protects your neck very well.

I bought this to attach to my bike helmet, because I live in a tourist area and ride my bike to the beach boardwalk through heavy traffic. Even though it's made for a construction helmet, it fits my bike helmet. Besides being seen, it keeps the sun off my face and the back of my neck. And the price cannot be beat! (I had looked at DaBrim, which is a bike helmet brim that is ridiculously high priced at $55). Many people tell me they need one, and a few laugh at it, but it keeps me safe and seen by traffic. I love it.

The fact that it’s lightweight and can be folded up and tucked into a pouch is such a nice option in the field. This product not only creates shade that covers, but the yellow helps to illuminate at the same time. I’m currently working in Page, Arizona which is the high desert, very low in humidity, gets well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the wind can really pick up at any time. The ability to quickly pull this item off, fold it up, and put it in my pocket when 30-40 mph winds pick up is pretty awesome. Then, if the winds die down I can quickly put the item back on my hardhat. Then mesh neck shade does its job of keeping the sun from burning the back of my neck and shoulders. The only downside has been the velcro straps that help keep it on the hardhat. Both stitching on the velcro came off within the first two weeks of using the product. Luckily I carry a portable sewing kit and was able to sew them back on. That would be my only complaint about this item.

Fits my helmet perfectly! Just what I needed for these hot days at work!!

Wife wanted a sun shade for her bicycle helmet. This fit the bill, and fit her helmet. It is a very snug fit, but once in place it has stayed put. Makes a great sun shade, although she had to snug up her helmet strap, because any wind would try and make it fly like a kite. Works great, very reasonably priced, no reason to believe it won't last a long time.
