This little Ziocom Audio Receiver is just wonderful to revive old technology. Easy setup, great value and pleasantly surprised that both myself and my husband are connected through our Bluetooth on two different iPhones— a feature that I didn’t notice on the product description. The sound is perfect. We did not have to use the included audio cable, the Bluetooth was seamless. I haven’t tried it, but I think it would work on any Audio Receiver that has the 30 pin port. Needed an Adapter to connect through the ipod dock of my Cambridge Soundworks 765i. I tried three others and none worked except the Ziocom. Worked immediately connected immediately to my phone through blue tooth. Thank You Ziocom!

Works great, pairs easily, sounds great. Only a few minor quibbles on the display. 1) Play/Pause icon shows pause when it’s playing, and play when it’s paused. That only makes sense if you can tap it to control play/pause, which you can’t. 2) The spectrum display is just a generic animation rather then actually showing the audio being played. No real purpose. 3) You’ve got this little screen - why not show the title of what’s being played on it?

Beautiful sound and looks very well made. I'd purchased one a couple of weeks ago, but it had horrible reception. It needed to be within only a few feet for it to work, but this one - WOW, works wonderfully! BTW, the return of the defective one was very easy, and I received this replacement within about 2 days of dropping off my older one for return.

Wish I'd done this sooner. Finally replaced the original iPod used with the Bose Sounddock 10 with this little attachment and viola! - it connected effortlessly with all my Bluetooth equipped devices - phone, tablet, laptop, including my TV. Naturally, all sound great through the Bose! It's only with the smart TV connection that a slight delay is detectable against the TV speakers - comparable to my Bluetooth connected sub. I've read other reviews mocking the ZIPCOM SOUL's display, and while limited, it does show the active connection and is a visual cue that the device is routing a signal to the device with a forward-facing active EQ graphic, which I find much more disco-dynamic compared to any of the rather dull side or top indicator lights of other 30-pin Bluetooth devices. Ultimately, to me, worth the extra $10 for the display alone.

I got this thinking I'd be able to breathe new life into my JBL dock. Unfortunately, it never worked. I was able to only pair my phone, not my laptop to it. Strike 1. Then the graphic LED display was just randomly throwing up signal, but no sound came out of my dock. I checked with the aux connection on the dock (not the BT adapter), and sound was coming out fine. So, I unplugged the adapater and replugged it in several times. No dice: strike 2 and 3 and 4. Return!

Works as it should, straight forward and no issues with sound quality though phone needs to be in the same room or close by otherwise you will encounter connectivity issues.

Funktioniert gut.Kann man auch extern über Klinkenstecker ein Signal zuführen. Guter Akku.
