Interesting cards... easy to use... sturdy

Fun cards! Wish I had these cards when I was learning math facts.Cards are plastic coated so they will last.My son doesn't love them nearly as much as I do, but the number 'families' printed on triangles do help him see the connections between the numbers.My only complaint is that one box could contain all 4 math operations. Even if your child only needs addition & subtraction now, I recommend buying the multiplication & division set as well. That way the cards are all the same style and you can mix up the cards for extra fun if your child likes playing with numbers.

Doing addition and subtraction using expanded form strategy or decomposition strategy requires the ability to easily add and subtract numbers from 19 down to 1. We use these cards to help my 7 year old granddaughter with her second grade math.

I was disappointed to find there are only 10 cards in this set. No 0+ facts, no 1+ facts; starts with 2+2. ( I had hoped to build confidence with my K grandson by starting with easy cards). Pricey for what you get. (As a third grade teache,r I had used an extended set in my classroom with great success.)
