Finally Arrived (the US mail service is terrible) and works as described for the Spektrum TX/RX USB Programming Cable. You can register through Horizon Hobby or Spectrum.

Needed for DXS; doesn't work anyway
Had to get this adapter to use the USB cable to update my DXS transmitters, but couldn't get it to work. Dog chewed up the adapter 10 minutes later. Wasn't sad about it.

This item was pricey but is a must for Spektrum RC users

Useless if you have a brain
It is literally just two wires and dose not connect to usb. you need the spectrum TX/RX programming cable as well.

This works in conjuction with the other cable you need to update the Spektrum DSX transmitter However you cannot change dual rate settings onthe dsx even with these 2 cable
