I tend to have skin that is very picky about what is put on it. So when I first decided to try Turmeric Face Mask for Sensitive Skin, I was nervous about actually using it and the bottle sat on my vanity counter for weeks. I finally decided that I had to give it a try or hand it over to someone else. The first time I applied it, i forged ahead without thoroughly washing my face. And yes, it did sting and I had to wash it off immediately. After waiting a few weeks more, it was time to give it 1 more chance! I washed my face thoroughly, rinsed it well and applied the turmeric face mask again. This time I got excellent results! It did not sting at all! It felt cool and comfortable! I let it stay on for the recommended 20 minutes then washed it off during my shower. My skin felt soft and lightly moistened. My pores were clean and my face looked fresh! I continue to use this regularly to keep my skin detoxified (turmeric is a miracle root!) and my pores clean and tight. Great Product when you use it correctly!

I know that this says that it is for sensitive skin but it burned like crazy when I put it on my face. I sat in front of a fan while it was heartening... which helped to make it tolerable. Maybe I've just never smelled turmeric before but when taking it off it smelled like turtle cage. It did brighten up my face a little after one use and I'm gonna continue to use it to see if it will make a difference.

I loved the scent, and it did deeply clean my face, but… It made my skin extremely dry and peeling afterwards for probably three days. I do have dry/combination sensitive skin and this is supposed to be for sensitive skin, but it inflamed my face too.

I've tried out quite a few different brands of face masks, but this one is definitely my favorite. I got the turmeric face mask to help moisturize my skin and clear up my acne. It is so pleasant to put on, it's very smooth and feels almost silky when I'm spreading it onto my skin, and the smell is amazing. It hardens while it's sitting but not to the point where it's uncomfortable like I've experienced with some other face masks. It washes off very easily leaves me feeling so refreshed. I use it a couple times a month and it hasn't caused any radical change in my skin because I'm using it pretty inconsistently, but it definitely makes my skin feel great for a few days after I use it.

Got this brand to replace my favorite charcoal clay mask that was discontinued. I was really hesitant because I loved my old one and didn’t think anything would live up to it. This one absolutely does and is even better! I have acne prone skin (hormonal) and have a serious skin care regimen that starts with this mask before exfoliating. I’m really pleased with it. I leave it on to dry completely before washing it off and exfoliating. The jar seems small when you get it, but a little bit goes a LONG way. It has a thicker consistency that spreads really, really well. At using 2x per week, for as much as I’ve used so far, I anticipate getting at least 4 months out of this, maybe up to 6.

The mask is hard to remove you need to soften with water and a wet cloth. My face feels refreshed after. I do this mask once a week

I’m sure this works well for others, but for me personally it started stinging as soon as I put it on. I had to wipe it completely off after about 60 seconds, after which my face was very red. I have tried other charcoal masks with great success, so I’m not sure if I reacted to the oils or what…but this wasn’t a win for me unfortunately.
