Christian Character (LifeGuide Bible Studies)

I use this for our adult Sunday School class, and they love it. It works for the new believer as well as though who have believed for awhile.

If you are looking for a study for both seasoned Christians and newcomers this is a good study. Well written.

A series of 12 studies. Topics include: Justification, Lordship of Jesus Christ, Temptation, Faith, Holiness, Compassion, Servanthood, Self-Image, Spiritual Gifts and the Body of Christ, Humility, and Perserverance. Leadership notes included at the end.I wish that they had included the Scripture passages referenced instead of having to have this booklet plus a Bible in order to do the study.

I was disappointed in this study guide. The chapter titles/subjects sounded good but the lessons weren't really very inspiring. We did it with our small group Bible study and we found the questions were not very thought provoking and really didn't stimulate good discussion. We've done several other titles in this series and found most of them to be pretty good but not this one.

As a group leader, I am using this book in an adult Sunday school setting. It incorporates Bible verses with great questions to be discussed. I have found the material to be an excellent resource that keeps the focus on the Bible and how we relate it to our daily lives, walking in Christ.
