Excellent Sugar Coated Fruit Flavored Jelly Slices!!!
Shipping was fast. All came in one box of 5lbs layered with wax paper between layers. They are very fresh and extremely tasty. These are very similar to what you buy at a Cracker Barrel or old timely candy shop that are like 5 pieces to a package for $3-4.00! The texture is the same, nice jelly, not gummy or sticky. The flavors are as good and even better as they even have some mixed with one color rind and a different center. I am very pleased and I will buy them again. If these are your "thing" like they are for me, then you really should give them a try. I was hesitant because of the size and cost, but I am glad I did. My wife just tried one and I may have to hide the box!

Perfect for the Jelly Slices Fanatic!
This is a great value for those who love fruit jelly slices. There is A LOT of product in a 5-pound, box, so I suggest possibly putting into zip-lock bags. That said, these are delicious. The fruit flavors stand out and are easily identified. One plus is that this item is made in Canada. I know for a fact that Canadian rules for food production are much stricter than the US, so I'm confident in the quality. The product had a good shelf life and arrived in perfect condition. If I had any negative comment, it would be that the sugar coating is a bit much, and a little gritty. But the trade-off in flavor and quality make it a great buy. The other 'gourmet' fruit jelly slices sell for about twice per pound than what I paid for these, so they are also an excellent value. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Stale and has weird aftertaste
I keep trying to justify this purchase but 90% of the slices are fully stale and have a weird texture and aftertaste. Also, they were all just loosely packaged into the box with some paper between layers but with no seal on anything, literally bringing this box into my house led to a trail of sugar on the floor due to the poor packaging and loose candies. Was very disappointed with the product I was hoping for good quality due to the price and it had good shipping time, but would've been better to just wait the extra shipping time for a better packaged and better tasting product. :(

These were good
The felt a bit harder than normal so maybe a bit stale? Like an old bag of gummy bears that has been open for too long, but not Xmas of 2005 long. Flavor was a amazing but clearly watermelon and lemon/grape/red (is red a flavor?) are the most common flavors which can be a bit boring after you catch yourself eating 20-25 of them in a single sitting and decide you should probably never order these again. I keep looking at the photo and thinking about my next order, it's prime!

OMG they are DELICIOUS!!!!
I grew up eating fruit slices and they are absolutely my favorite candy. I immediately pulled out my food saver machine and separated the 5lbs of fruit slices into 10 bags. That way I don’t eat them all right away. I don’t suck the air out of the bags, I just seal them. I’ve done this many times and they last a couple of months or as long as I can hide them from myself for. If you like fruit slices, you will not be disappointed. They are so fresh, and delicious!

Sometimes you get a good batch, sometimes not.
I ordered this box of fruit slice candy in August in California, and was thrilled with the variety, freshness, colors, and flavors. Placed the exact same order in September in Oregon, and was disappointed. Not much variety, mostly lime (nobody's favorite), only a few of the "exotic" flavors I was hoping for, and the slices were harder than usual and dry, as though they'd been sitting on a shelf for months. Having said that, fruit slices are my favorite candy, so I'm still going to eat them, but for every lime slice I'll be shaking my head. It would be nice if we could order custom mixes of the flavors we want, but right now if you want any one flavor you have to order five pounds of just that one flavor. (Yes, I like grape, but I don't want a warehouse full.) I guess you can expect a good batch of these only if you're in California, which doesn't seem fair.

They aren’t in any kind of airtight wrapping
Ugh I’m so disappointed. The candies come unwrapped inside the cardboard shipping box. They’re stacked with parchment paper between layers. The box is NOT AIRTIGHT so they are not super hard but not a “jelly” consistency. They’re very firm. I read and re-read the description. I expect them to have a certain firmness to them but it’s disappointing that they’re as hard as they are. I’d think they could be placed in a baggies and then in the box and it’d help prevent them from hardening. I paid $30 for these. Certainly they could afford some plastic baggies to put them in so this doesn’t happen. I tried a couple of them. Flavors so far are fine but the texture is not what I expected at all. Hard “jelly”. Plastic bags would’ve prevented them from drying out and kept them safer if the box were damaged. I won’t buy these again. I’ll look for another company. So disappointed.

Bad Taste...RATING REVISED
I am a big fan of fruit slices...they are all yummy in their own way. These, however, have a lingering bad taste. I'm assuming it is a chemical, but it tastes a bit like vomit. UPDATE...after a week or so, the candies formed their "tradition" sugar-shell and the funny taste disappeared. Maybe they were just very fresh? I just ordered a second box. Note...I am not the only one eating these if you were thinking that I ate 5lbs that fast lol
