Fine little radio but headphones are an issue.
Fine little radio and arrived on time. It's easy enough to use and picked up nearly 80 DAB+ stations on the first scan. It's perfectly portable. The supplied headphones, whilst delivering a reasonably clear sound quality, sadly do not fit in my ears. Hunting down a different headphone has proved difficult so far. Azatom have been helpful and told me that the jack needs to have two black lines. I tried one with three black lines and it didn't work. I've located one on Amazon that I think will fit, fingers crossed!

An excellent device
I collected this on 16 February and was impressed from the start. On the downside, the supplied headphones were not the ones advertised with silicon buds but smooth plastic items that wouldn't stay in my ears even when sitting still. An email to AZATOM and they happily replaced them. The new phones are quite secure in my ears even when walking around. The radio is in my view solidly built, attractive and the control layout is intuitive. Tuning is quick and it's easy to move channels to presets. I live within line of sight of the Waltham transmitter so reception is good although in some local shops the signal drops intermittently. This is quite understandable as a headphone cable is not the most efficient form of antenna by any means. The audio quality is excellent. I have not checked the battery life although I have listened for at least 10 hours with the volume set quite high to penetrate my elderly ears. The charging is slow and I have emailed AZATOM to ask if using a more powerful charge would be harmful. I have only given 4 stars for battery life as I cannot confirm exactly how long it is.In summary, this little gem is excellent value for money.Thank you.

Great Idea. Rubbish Battery Life
Had to return this as the battery life was terrible. Charged it up to full and then next morning, without use it said Battery Low. Shame, as the radio was quite good. Auto tuned and picked up a load of stations sound quality ok, but, supplied earphones were a bit poor. Sounded ok when played through an attached speaker. Nice sized radio and had high hopes, but as other people have found, the battery performance lets it down. Cant listen while it’s charging either, which seems mad.

Good Value for Money
Good little personal DAB, which fits easily into a pocket. Provides me with hours of radio as I'm out and about working. Overall, it's a smashing product (for the money paid), and I'd definitely be happy to recommend it to others. Build quality seems good. It's easy to use, and doesn't require a PhD to work out all its features! The 3 year warranty is excellent, although hopefully it won't be required. 1 month into using it, and it's not fallen to pieces yet.A few minor things worth noting:-1. Earphones are not the best or most robust. I've already lost a few of the rubber buds which insert into the inner ear.2. The battery life is good, but it's not as good as the advertised numbers. I use the radio for 4-5 hours a day, and comfortably get about 3 days use before it needs a recharge. Not quite the number of hours advertised, but still pretty good. I've no issues charging it twice a week.3. Following on from #2, the screen shows an image of a battery, but doesn't give a % charge remaining, so as the battery image reduces, there's no real way of knowing just how much/little charge remains.4. When charging - unless you have the radio power on, there's no indication from the screen to show that the charging is working. That would've been useful.5. The lock button is a useful feature, although the button itself doesn't feel as robust as the other buttons on the radio.
