We replaced our kitchen knives that had plastic handles. This is a nice set, the handles are all metal, are comfortable for both my wife's petite and my large hands, are seamless to keep out bacteria, and dishwasher safe. The assortment covers almost all kitchen cutting tasks. They are sharp when they arrive. The block keeps them on the counter and frees up a drawer. I'm not sure if I'll use the attached sharpener as I find this kind pretty aggressive. It would be handy for someone without sharpening skills and tools. Overall I am quite pleased with this set.

Great quality metal, it came very sharp and has held an edge well. It was a fair price too. The wood handle was pretty but developed a small split in the grain, so the company sent me a new knife. I’m very happy with the customer service since I’ve used the knife regularly for about a year.

This chef knife works great for cutting meat. The blade is very sharp and slices through beef and chicken easily without much effort. It feels comfortable in the hand and well balanced, which makes food prep quicker. The quality also seems very solid.

Knife order was received immediately. It is very sharp, just what I needed. My old chef knife became dull so I thought I would order a knife sharpener. This knife was nearly the same amount as the sharpener, so I went for it. The only think I didn't like was I thought it was a Japanese knife, designed in the USA but made in Japan. It was actually made in China. I will see how long it will last. Hopefully it will last as long as my original chef knife, which I have had for forty to fifty years.

I was so surprised with how sturdy, sharp, and well balanced this chefs knife was. The handle size fits my hand perfectly (for reference I wear size large gloves), and my wife has no issues handling it either. Most knives I've worked with make my hand sore after I finish cutting up my vegetables and meat. But this knife honestly just feels great to work with. It's also really versatile; the blade size and shape make it easy to mince/chop/dice, scoop up your freshly cut food, and smashing garlic (haven't tried smashing any spices yet). If you're looking for a well rounded/jack of all trades chef knife, this is the one to get!

My knife was very sharp and I love the weighted handle. It gives you a feeling of total control when you're cutting vegetables. Product was delivered within 2 days which was expected. Overall, I recommend this knife.

As the title suggests, this chef's knife is wickedly sharp! It cuts cleanly through meat as if there was no resistance whatsoever. It slices through tomatoes like you'd expect from a high-end Japanese Ginsu kitchen knife. I'm quite impressed with both the knife and the price. I've no idea how long it will hold up; but so far, so good! The grip's handle is comfortable in my hand and doesn't create unnecessary fatigue, even after slicing through considerable amounts of both meats and vegetables when preparing for larger meals. The knife looks nice, too! Cleaning is a breeze; just be careful not to cut yourself in the process. All in all, this Chef's knife is a winner!

Great quailty for the (sale) price. A light sharpening now and then keeps it very sharp. My main kitchen knife. Good balance and comfortable to hold. Looks great too.

I lost my favorite paring knife and ordered this as a temporary replacement. It has turned out to be a great knife. Very sharp and it seems to be a very high quality construction. I am completely satisfied with it and I won’t be needing to replace it.
