Easy to use and easy to clean. Magnet on the back is useful- I just keep it hanging on the side of my stove. Accurately measures temperature with good display size which lights up.

This is the best meat thermometer I have used. It is easy to use, easy to read and does the job of measuring an accurate temperature. I highly recommend this meat thermometer to anyone who wants to take the “guess” work out of roasting meat!

I use an instant read thermometer daily for anything I cook or bake. I have a great thermometer at my primary home but needed one for my second home. I chose this one because of the ratings and reviews. This thermometer is very lightweight and has a plastic feel to it. It has a magnet for storing on your fridge or other metal surface. That is a very handy feature. The probe is deployed by a button. The probe doesn't fully extend on its own. It extends about half way. The unit must be turned on manually. The display has a light that lasts for about 10 seconds. The thermometer reads a temp quickly. It does hesitate for a brief second before it starts to read. The probe can only be collapsed by pushing the button. That makes it a two handed process. I have things I like about my primary thermometer such as the probe fully extending with a button push but then easily collapsing just by pushing the probe. That is a one handed job that is convenient when I want to quickly put the thermometer in my apron pocket or set it down until I need it. It also is wider and easier to hold. This thermometer works well. It's decent quality but it is lightweight plastic. It doesn't have all the features I'd like to have but it gets the job done. For the price, it's a good deal. If you are more elevated in cooking, baking and meats then you might want a better thermometer with more features.

We really like this meat thermometer. I just bought my third. Originally, I bought one for home and one for my son’s graduate school apartment. They are still working great. I bought a third because my other son wanted one for his crafting tool box. I might get a 4th just for when I misplace one. Though, the bight red color does make them easy to see.

Bought this thing in 2017 and still using it. It reads much faster than an analog thermometer and it seems to be more accurate. Wow, it's been 9 years already! I definitely got my money's worth!!!

If you don't have one, buy it! It is so handy and easy to use. There is a little button that flips out the metal thermometer on the side. Not only is the metal part long but with the handle you don't have to be worried about burning your hand. The temperature reading is easy to see. It has a magnet which makes it nice to put on the frig so it's handy whenever I need it. I have found all ThermoPro devices excellent quality and their customer service is outstanding.
