Hair Solutions Energizing Scalp Serum, 1.7 Ounce by Peter Lamas

After freaking out at going through a long period of my long hair falling out at the roots, I learned it was called. Tellofen Effuvium. Whatever the name, I tried everything, as my scalp was also itching, but no one could find the cause. I spent so much money of hair and scalp serums, but they either had ingredients that gave me side effects or I didn't like they way they made my hair feel, etc. I tried at least 10 other highly recommended hair growth serums, not counting. Minoxidil or other Rx products, which I won't use. I wish this serum weren't so expensive, but I will keep paying for it. It is the only one I have found that makes my scalp feel amazing, isn't greasy, smells great, but mostly- I have new hair! No topical treatment can stop the progression of the condition I was suffering from- I believe my hair loss finally stopped on its own. But I needed to see if the hair would grow back around my front hairline, my neckline, and all over. I honestly have a TON of new hairs lower on my neck line, lower than I remember having hair before, and in front of my ears, I also have hair growing more forward and lower than before, plus my front hair line has filled back in! Besides the cost, I also am. It wild about the dropper applicator- it doesn't lent itself to practical application- maybe if you are only treating a few spots. I use this serum usually once a day- either morning or night. I love this product!

I’m on my second bottle. It is pleasant to use but so far I can’t tell that it has done anything to improve my scalp. It is pricey. If you have scalp or hair thinning issues there’s no harm to try this.

This is a great product to help boost hair growth. I have fine hair that is definitely thickening. Does not make your hair feel greasy . Highly recommend!

I was using something else and it was working perfectly for me, not sure how I got convinced to buy this more expensive product. My har start excessively shedding, anyhow I kept using it for about 1,5 months, just to test it out but I am really done now. What a waste of my hair and money!

I bought this because it was recommended for thinning hair in a "health" magazine. I used it for a couple of weeks as directed. My scalp tingled. It smelled nice. But, if anything, my hair looked thinner! Also, my scalp was reddened!

This is a hard one to review. I started using it when I was losing a lot of hair. That was some years ago. While the hair loss stopped after I began using it (I don't remember how long after), that might have been because of other things such as other products I was also using and reduction of stress. So, I'm not sure how much, if at all, it had to do with stopping the hair loss. I stopped using it for about 6 months recently. Since my hair loss stopped some time ago, and I didn't see any increase in hair loss after not using the product (plus it's rather pricey!), I'm going to stop buying it once I'm out.

I've used this every night for a month, and shedding remains the same. I understand that results could take several months, but I'm not sure I want to spend nearly $50 on this monthly. It's not greasy and the scent is fine. My recent shedding is due to increased stress and hormone issues, so maybe it doesn't work for that.
