The kids loved it. They hit it with a bat and it held up well for all the kids (4 and under) to get a chance until the bigger kids got a turn. Did wish it was a little bigger.

Look just like the images but not for children to bust open. After the kids at the party spent a while hitting it my husband had to do it. It took him a couple hard hits before it even busted open. Using a hard piñata bat

The pinata looks great, but like many other reviews say it is small. We managed to fit 2 lbs of candy and a small box of toys and it just wouldn't fit anymore. We used the pull-string feature instead of hitting it because we liked the idea of not having 20 kids taking turns, but maybe because we over-filled it, the candy did not fall down and we had to go and rip it apart. Also keep in mind that there is only one string that will actually break open the pinata. The other strings will just snap off. Had we known that, we might have had the kids take turns so we know who had the string that finally cracked it open. All in all, it did the job but a bit poorly. The kids still found it fun because of the candy frenzy, but I would not purchase this pinata again.

Great quality and excellent size for a dozen preschool age children.

Use this for my son’s fifth birthday party and it was very sturdy to hang from our backyard tree. It held a large variety bag of candy like 150 pieces I think. The kids easily pulled on the strings and it was so cute to see!

We bought for my 4 year old's bday party. The kids stood in line. The first child pulled one string, the next child pulled one string, then my son went up and pulled one string. When my son pulled the string, the bottom tore open and everything fell out. There were kids who didn't get to participate in this. For the amount of money we spent on this pinata, it should last longer than 35 seconds. We bought a pull string pinata for my daughter's bday a few months ago from a different site and each of the 8 girls were able to go through the line 3-4 times to pull a string.

Most anticlimactic piñata experience I've ever had. The strings all came off without opening the hatch. Then I manually opened the hatch. Then the candy was stuck inside because the hatch was too small. I tried shaking, but the candy was all stuck inside. I shook harder and it still wouldn't come out. Then I eventually grabbed out the candy bit by bit and dropped it on the floor. Because the candy was only coming out one or two pieces at a time, the over-excited kids kept bumping heads trying to dash for the same piece. What a disappointment! :(
