Joie Bloom Kitchen Sink Strainer Basket, Fits All Standard Sinks, Stainless Steel, Cute Garbage Disposal Drain Cover, 4.5-Inch, Flower, Colors May Vary

I live in an apartment and don't have garbage disposal, so I purchased this to prevent food from going down the drain. I love this little strainer! It's so cute and does the job very well. I've gotten compliments on how adorable it is! It can withstand heat because I have poured boiling water on it. One great thing about it is that the little flower can be used to pick up the strainer. I don't like to touch food and waste that is caught in the strainer, so it's nice to use the middle part that sticks up (the flower) to pick it up from the sink and dispose of the contents that are in the strainer.

I don’t think I was able to code the color I received, but I got it in red and that was PERFECT for my kitchen! Fits well and because it has metal that touches metal in my sink, makes this superior to the cheap plastic one I was using! I had to constantly clean the plastic one but this one I don’t need to do constant cleaning plus the holes or slits are bigger than my plastic one! I like this one very much and if something would happen to this one, I’d happily replace again with this brand and wouldn’t care which color they gave me!

I have tried so many different sink strainers in different apartments and this is now the only one I will ever buy. It may be an odd thing to have brand loyalty for, but when I accidentally threw away my last one and needed a replacement, there was no question. Some other brands have poorly spaced drainage holes, or too much mesh for food waste to stick to, I have never had to mess with this thing to get my sink to drain no matter how full it is. Easy to clean, doesn't clog, easy to remove, and cute!

I ordered two of these thinking they were both the same color as the picture only shows one color for the bloom design (purple). When they arrived they were two different colors (pink and blue). If your OCD like me and like matching colors don’t get your hopes up if you order this. Other than that they are very nice.

I had one before and liked it alot. I didn't pay enough attention tho when ordering I thought I ordered a purple one, really wanted purple. But I got a blue one which is still a very pretty blue. Best part is it works well.

I missed the fine print stating that the color is random. I saw the main photo is purple, and ordered. I received red. I can’t stand red. On the flip side, we currently a set in another design which we have been using for four years. It’s very sturdy and does a great job keeping debris out of the drain.

This is my third one (a purple flower) and I love them all! My other two are blue whales and they add such a cheerful touch to my kitchen sink area that I smile when I see them. I am also keeping up with washing dishes, putting them away and making sure my sink shines. They're so cute that I don't want them to be buried under dirty dishes. Whomever created these had a fabulous idea going. They are sturdy and durable and will last a long time so long as they are not crushed under heavy pots and pans.

This sink strainer is much more cheaply made than the strainer I am replacing. I also ordered a red strainer and received a turquoise one.
