The extended life of the battery more than compensates for the extra inch jutting out the back of the laptop
The extended life of the battery more than compensates for the extra inch jutting out the back of the laptop.Update; I replace this battery after about 2-1/2 years of use which is over and above the usable life of the standard battery. That being said, the extended capacity dropped down quite a bit after the first year but, down to 4-1/2 hours after a year of almost 6 isn't that bad.Note: I usually go through a standard battery in a year (I have never been able to get warranty coverage for the 2nd year based on charging cycles). I use my equipment heavily and have to recharge standard batteries 3 or more times a day, with this, I'm at around 2. I use 2 systems throughout the day so having 1 with an extended battery comes in handy.

Excellent customer support
I restored my retired Dell M2800 computer from scratch (reinstalling windows, drivers, programs and data); but the computer did not detect the original battery--(it appeared to attempt to charge it.).It immediately detected the Dentsing replacement battery, but would not charge it.Dentsing technical support was very responsive and very helpful.HWMonitor now shows the battery to be 100% charged and 0% wear.I did not rate battery life because I have used it for only 10 days.

Well compared to other batteries I bought, this one actually worksHow well in terms of life of battery is another subjectSo that said I get about 2-3 hours of life running one open site...My old dying battery got me 4 and it was 4 years oldSo value for the money is just about zero.

Great out of the box.
This battery took a full charge in my laptop and has worked fine for me for a several days now. I cannot speak to the battery's longevity at this point. Hence, only four stars given due to the long-term life being as yet unknown.

Has worked well in my Dell E64400 laptop, but after only four months of use and it will only hold a charge at 68%.
