This is a great tracker, it's has UWB support meaning it's better then the Bluetooth only variants. What's UWB? Basically, if you lose your item connected to a smart tag any Samsung UWB enabled device can pick it up. UWB essentially uses crowd sourced location reporting other bluetooth only devices cannot do this meaning you only get an out of range notification. Some people are using smart tags in there cars as a cheaper vehicle tracker alternative although it's not full proof as it relies on someone with a compatible Samsung device walking past the tag. Samsung have a great ugumented function where you can use your phone camera in realise to locate you Smart Tag. It's not rechargeable but I have not yet seen a tag with this funcionality. The battery (CR2032) lasts approx 100-130 days. Note: At the time of writing this review, Google has not launched their find-me tag support and it's unclear if Samsung tags will supported in that solution.

I have used these for a number of things. They are great if you lose your keys and providing another user goes by, it will report where it is and alert you. I have a habit of loosing keys and this has got me out of trouble a few times! I have also put one each in our holiday luggage and it was reassuring to know my cases were in the hold as my phone could connect to them. They are quite expensive, but certainly worth the peace of mind that they give. One small annoyance is that they report a low battery alarm after only a week or two, BUT, ignore this and it will carry on working for a few months without issues. A clever and useful piece of kit.

They work great and get found within a minute usually. I have one hidden on my motorbike, one in my tool bag and one hidden in the car. I regularly check to see if they get found by other people phones and they always do, no matter where I leave them. Very handy little things. I think everything should have one of these in it. Battery life is less than stated, at around 9 months I'd say. But when you can buy batteries for them for 50p that's not too much of a problem

I have three Smart Tag Plus devices. Two are absolutely fine. The third ran the battery down in about a day. This has now been replaced and its replacement is fine too. If you get a faulty one that drains the battery get it swapped. The tags themselves work really well in your suitcases. Nice to know where your cases are in the airport and that they have caught the same flight as you! Also useful to find uour way back to the hotel once you are on holiday. Well worth the expense.

Item works well, is easy to link to you phone (samsung anyway, not sure about others.) I shoud have read the specs better, as my phone doesn't support the UWB function, so I should have just bought the normal smart tag, my fault. Make sure you check the list of supported devices in the smart things app, and just get the standard smart tag, if your phone isn't on the list.

App kept tellimg me the battery was low which surprised me because of how little it has been used so far. New batteries purchased so lets see how we go from here 👍🏼

I'm really pleased with this, mainly because it actually works. Even in a busy airport.

Easy to use and set up. They will be great in busy surroundings citys busy towns etc. Not so good rural areas as it needs a Samsung item to see them. Can be a little glitchy in the app. I used the 2 together to try them and one registered in one place and the other was a few towns away. They are reliable to a certain extent. Batterys only last few months

Ich persönlich bin mit dem Galaxy SmartTag+ sehr zufrieden. Tut was er soll und ich hatte auch mit der Batterie keine Probleme, wie hier öfter beschrieben. Die Frage ob sich die Preisdifferenz zum "normalen" SmartTag ohne + lohnt, kann ich noch nicht beantworten. Ich habe beide in Betrieb, einen an meinem Schlüsselbund und einen in meinem Bike-Rucksack, auf Radtouren erhalten beide gleich viele Pings von anderen Samsung-Nutzern, das Orten selbst habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Was man erwähnen sollte: die zahlreichen auf Amazon angebtotenen Schutzhüllen(die SmartTags sind sehr anfällig für Kratzer) sind meist ausschließlich für den normalen SmartTag, der SmartTag+ ist geringfügig größer und die Neopren-Hülle daher einen Ticken zu klein - verwenden kann man sie aber trotzdem, wenn man ein wenig an der Hülle herumzieht. Kurzes Update nach 10 Wochen Nutzung: der SmartTag+ läuft noch immer mit der mitgeliferten Batterie(zu zwei Dritteln voll), verbraucht im Vergleich zum normalen SmartTag zwar mehr, aber das finde ich persönlich vernachlässigbar. Die Ortungsfunktion des SmartTag+ ist gut durchdacht und zeigt den Standort im Vergleich zum SmartTag genauer an, man findet allerdings beide. Was beim SmartTag+ defintiv besser funktioniert, ist die Benachrichtigung auf dem Smartphone, wenn er sich nicht mehr in der Nähe befindet. Ist der SmartTag+ außer Reichweite des Telefons, bekommt man zuverlässig umgehend und jedes Mal eine Nachricht, während die Nachrichten beim normalen SmartTag nur sporadisch aufpoppen. Bisher gibt es von meiner Seite also noch keinen Grund zu meckern.

Nous les avons utilisé à plusieurs reprises pour voyager et dernièrement lors d'une escale pendant un voyage nous nous avons pu constater que nos Smart Tag chacune disposés dans nos bagages en soute, ont pu être localisés indiquant que nos bagages nous avaient bien suivis, c'est vraiment rassurant ! Ils sont tops ! La seule contrainte étant de disposer d'un smartphone Samsung...

Lo llevo en la maleta y la verdad es que funciona muy bien dentro del ecosistema Samsung. Hasta ahora me la ha detectado sin problemas en varios vuelos internacionales tanto en el aeropuerto de origen como en el de destino y además con bastante precisión. Para lo que lo estoy usando, muy útil. Inconvenientes: la pila que trae no dura nada. O le ponen una pila barata, o lo tienen años en el almacén o es de segunda mano (no lo parece, la verdad). The tags themselves work fine. However, both came with an empty battery. I recommend ordering some additional batteries along with these tags.
