PH Meter and TDS Meter Combo. Digital PH Meter and TDS Meter with ±0.01 pH and ±2% Accuracy.

It was suggested in the water filter booklet that we have something to measure the water quality (I would have never thought about it).I knew we had hard and horrible water but I was beyond disbelief when I saw the numbers for our tap water – as you can see in the picture!I took different sampled just to make sure this thing was working:Tap – 722 (oh my dear Lord, this is way over the max limit)Filtered with fridge filter - 473 (I can clearly see that filter needs to be replaced)Newly replaced filter water system – 138 (this has since dropped below 100 so I know it’s better)Bottled water – 16I didn’t even know what I was expecting but looking at those numbers just made me realize I need to make a few more changes.It was pretty easy to use.The PH one I haven’t used, I don’t know at this point when I will be using it as my main concern was the water quality and ensuring we change those filters when the quality starts to drop.I guess for people with a water filter, definitely a great addition because sometimes the recommended timeframes will be different if your water is as nasty as ours.

These are junk. The TDS meter arrived broken, didnt care too much because it was a novelty, just wanted the PH meter. PH meter calibrated, tested with another stock solution, cleaned with DI, dried and capped.Went to use it and realized the calibration didnt hold AT ALL. Or the type 1 DI from my lab's generation system was coming out at 0.78. To confirm, I tested the meter on 7.04 standard solution and it bounced between approx 2 and 11, stabilizing just over 4. Recalibrated again, didnt hold calibration.These are cheap plastic with cheap cases with exposed PLC's and hackjob soldering. They're JUNK, pure and simple. Find a different company to buy from. Also, get something waterproof.1. the clip on these breaks immediately so forget clipping to a beaker.2. The case is completely open with an exposed board connected to the probe. Rinsing the bulb safely or getting a sample is a chore.

We had two other of these types of ppm TDS units and they seemed way off when I tested them. This one is the best of the three. It came closest to the real ppm. I have a colloidal silver product that's got a specific ppm and so it was what I used to test the accuracy of this meter. The meter is completely easy to use, and it's easy to read. I really got this for the TDS unit and haven't tried the PH meter. I just needed an accurate TDS meter and the PH meter is a nice bonus. I'm really happy with set.

There are solution packets included with which to calibrate the pH meter. The TDS meter has no calibration option. I compared it the results from another TDS meter that I have and the results were nearly the same (within accuracy limits of these devices) thus I will conclude that this meter does measure TDS fairly accurately.

Been using for quite some time now and it's still holding up good. Directions are easy to understand and easy to use.

Garbage. Never works

I have only used the TDS meter so far and this meter has proven to be easy to use and (hopefully) accurate. Everybody who has a water filter or has questionale water sources should own a meter like this for peace of mind.Recommended.
